ABOUT REED'S COVE CABIN
Nestled on a quiet private road, Reed’s Cove Cabin carries a touch of history—it’s named after the site of Lake Cushman’s second hotel, which welcomed visitors in the late 1800s through the 1920s. Today, this one-bedroom retreat offers modern comfort in a timeless setting.
Surrounded by towering evergreens and boasting a full lake view, the cabin is just five miles from the charming town of Hoodsport, where you’ll find local shops, wineries, and eateries. Inside, you’ll find a warm and welcoming space designed for two, with everything you need for a relaxing stay, including internet access and private parking.
Lake Cushman is a playground for outdoor adventure. Try your hand at fishing for kokanee or cutthroat trout, set out on a scenic hike in Olympic National Park, or simply enjoy the beauty of the lake from the shoreline. In the evening, wander down the cabin’s path to the outdoor firepit where you can roast marshmallows and watch the sunset paint the water and mountains in golden light.

This is a cozy retreat for a couple's getaway. The living room is furnished very comfortably with a plush sofa and chairs, with an electric fireplace to take off the chill. You can also enjoy a movie on the flat screen, smart tv. The living room opens onto the large, multiple-level sun deck, where you'll find a propane bbq and outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining.
The kitchen is equipped well enough to cook your feast and bake dessert and includes a full complement of appliances, pots, pans and dinnerware. A large outdoor seating area on the deck is a great spot for chit-chat while admiring the lake below.
The queen-sized bed in the bedroom is just right for two. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination. Clean linens and towels are provided for your stay. For guest convenience, there is also a washer and dryer.
If you like to hike, this area will keep you busy! Try your boots on a tough day-hike up Mount Rose, Summit Mount Washington or take an afternoon stroll on one of many riverside trails like the Staircase Rapids Loop.

Instruction including access will be sent by email. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. If dogs are allowed, they must be approved in advance, with a quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Bookings over 30 days or longer are with Prospera VIP.
