「The description does not state anywhere that this property is a a house share. It specially states when booking, that you and your guests will have entirety of the property to yourselves. Upon arrival, the host was at the property and told myself that he would be staying in the room above. There were no safety precautions in place to separate ourselves from the host. The host then offered us a refund, but when contacted by Expedia declined this. Appalling customer service.」

「The house was a surprise, covering 3 floors. Amazing bathroom and very spacious bedrooms. Rrally clean and welcoming. Short walk into Buxton.」

「Bedrooms were of a good size and the en-suites were nice. Comfortable lounge and decent kitchen. Apartment perfect for a one night stay. However AVO Management who organised the check in had sent the check in forms to the wrong email address which caused some added stress to the process, which could have been easily avoided.」

「Very spacious apartment and exactly as described. We love Kelham island so this location was perfect. Delicious cafes just at the end of the street or a 10 minute walk. Parking wasn’t a problem but you do need to pay.」

「The property was reasonably priced and as advertised. The manager was helpful as I was stupid, groggy, tired after camping and a long hike with my daughter upon approaching the property. The property manager really helped us out. I also met the cleaner of the property one of the most real and down to earth people you could ever meet. Who definitely deserves a pay rise, even more so when cleaning up after people like me. All positive notes, there's nothing negative that I could even make up....

「The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity. For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean. The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through...

「Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations.」
