Property was very clean. Right size for several people to share. Saw deer and wild turkey right in front of the cabin. It is right next to the entrance leading to Lake Barkley Resort where the restaurants, marina, indoor pool and swim beach are located.

Property was as expected. Was only there one night. The cabin was very clean and had supplies we needed. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would be back again if in the area. Very pretty location, I wish we were there longer to be able to explore more.

Peaceful relaxing stay

Cabins are a bit dated but I knew that from the pictures. Little store at the entrance had food so I didn't have to ride to town to get anything, although it was only a 15 minute ride if I had needed to. One A/C unit in the cabin but since it was just me I shut the bedroom doors and slept on the couch. The bedrooms didn't seem to get real cool but it was 95degrees outside. There is Wifi but it is about as slow as dial up. That would have to be my only complaint if you want to call it one. Cell service was fine in the cabin for calls and messaging but I had to step outside occasionally to get better reception for social media (att).. All in all it was a relaxing stay and close to the activities that I was attending.

Great place and great experience

My daughter and I really enjoyed our experience...it was so quiet...best of all, they are pet friendly, so we got to bring our dogs...very cozy...the owners were very friendly and very hospitable...they made sure you had everything you needed...very good experience and atmosphere...will definitely be going back.

Fishing getaway

Location is excellent, communication with the owner is excellent. Cabin is clean, neat with few amenities. Utensils, plates, bowls, cups etc. you'd better bring your own, but it's perfect for a place to lay your head after a day on Lake Barkley. Price is appropriate and reasonable. Planning a fishing trip with the guys? I'd highly recommend it.

Barkley fishing trip

Cabin is clean, everything is in working order and as advertised. Don't expect to find dishes or silverware. There is however a couple pots and pans. Communication with the owner is fantastic as they live on the property.

Holiday Thanksgiving Cheer!

Enjoyed our stay. Two things were inadequate. Could use a chair in each bedroom and a better heating source. Otherwise it was great! Our needs were met. Beds were comfy. Shower was great. Lighting wasn’t too good in front room but okay overall. Would we stay there again? Yes we would!! And we will recommend it to friends and family!!!

Probably a better choice for four guys going fishing on the lake than a 70 year old adventurous female wanting a place to stay rather than a hotel room so I could spend a day exploring Land Between the Lakes. It worked.

Fish Island Resort

My daughter and I had a blast staying at Fish Island Resort for the first time! The cabin was cute and quaint. It had two bedrooms and a kitchen area to meet our needs. We were even able to watch the Olympics on television during our stay! The cabin is less than two miles from the public beach at Lake Barkley and only 15 minutes from Land Between the Lakes. We were even able to drive to Patti's 1880s Settlement for a nice lunch! I thought we were going to end our trip on a bad note with a flat tire, but even that ended up as a good experience! Would highly recommend! We are thinking it may become an annual getaway for us!

Perfect location

Our stay was exactly what we wanted and needed plus some! Super close to the marina where our boat rental was, Tony was amazing and super helpful! Very peaceful location while an on-site gas station/country store with food. We will definitely be returning!
