“Very clean and easy access to the beach.”

“Excellent location by the water, a city park across street good for taking a walk, a lot of restaurants around, less than 10 min driving to the miles of beach at the south side. Hotel room is very spacious and clean, will come back if I visit Port Aransas again.”

“The location is great. The room was perfect. It came equipped with everything we needed and more. The one and only drawback was the clerk at checkout. We made an error & misunderstood checkout time so we literally had 10 minutes to pack up & leave. While that was understandable, the clerk at the front desk was very rude about it and not empathetic to misunderstanding at all and made us feel dumb for thinking checkout was later (like most other places we have stayed) Nonetheless we will be……

“The staff at the Hampton were some of the nicest staff members I have ever met at a hotel. The breakfast was excellent!! Couldn’t be better. The hotel may consider getting some new carts for customers to use for unpacking/packing. One cart had a broken wheel and all were very difficult to steer.”

“Upon arrival and check in staff told me he could not find my reservation, which I had already booked and paid for days in advance, frustrating to say the least . A lady behind me was also checking in and he told her he couldn’t find her reservation. I believe they need to work on their system because it was just unacceptable. Check ins should be quick & easy. The room was decent/clean enough. But the air conditioner was broken it was very humid / muggy in the room super uncomfortable to sleep……

“Overall it was a great stay! The hotel is a little dated but that is to be expected. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly. We stayed in a kitchenette room while we were there. It made for a quick and easy option for last minuet meals after coming in from the beach. The pool is great and clean and there are two grills located near it, with a covered picnic table. The game room area was a little cluttered with storage boxes but in general was clean. The only downfall was……

“Biggest issue was the locking mechanism. Main door had electric type in 4 digit code plus checkmark and it unlocks. Doors have settled and/or shifts. Had to call facilities to come deal with issue. Super nice, came quickly. Just an older building. Back sliding glass did not lock at all. Facilities had a wooden closet rod in the floor guide. Did the job nicely. However, having a bad back makes it a little nuisance. View from this room was great RM 121. AC good with two window units. Bed was firm,……

“Staff was amazing and friendly made you feel like you were at home away from home..Pool was great breakfast was just right and the beach is down the street!! I will definitely stay there again.. Probably be there in a couple weeks!”
