"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "The room was basic and appeared to have been made up in a hurry - wastebin liner not fitted to allow waste to be deposited and no teaspoons. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There was evidence of repair work in the bathroom where different tiles had been poorly fitted - but it was clean and functional. The pizza served at dinner was as good as you would get anywhere in mainland Italy - obviously fresh and piping hot. Breakfast was excellent, a very good selection to serve all tastes, hot food hot and a good selection. Friendly and attentive staff, although a call to reception went unanswered for some while during a busy check-in period. The current drought conditions didn't show off the gardens to their full potential and paved walkways had quite a number of loose slabs."
