Pros: Modernes lichtdurchflutetes Haus mit Meerblick in ruhiger Lage.

Pros: Modernes lichtdurchflutetes Haus mit Meerblick in ruhiger Lage. Fußläufig zum Meer und nach Snaptun-Hafen (dort schöner Spielplatz, schöner Strand, kleines Bistro für Eis und Burger etc; Fähre zur Nachbarinsel, man kann das Treiben der Fischerboote beobachten). Bequemes Bett. Schöne Küche. Tolle Terrasse mit schönen Outdoor-Möbeln und Außendusche. Gute Parkmöglichkeit für PKW auf dem Grundstück.Cons:- Keinerlei Außenjalousie /Sonnenschutz, dadurch sehr warm im Sommer (bei Ankunft 28.5 Grad im Haus). Bei so einem Haus wären Sonnenschutzrollos von außen absolut zwingend nötig. - Die großen Eckfenster an den Giebeln können nicht verdunkelt werden, dadurch sehr hell im Schlafzimmer und natürlich warm im Haus- keine Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern ! Für uns ein großer, den Urlaub beeinträchtigender Mangel und nicht in Ordnung bei dieser Preisklasse. Dadurch viele Insekten im Haus, nachts Mücken. Bei den mehrere Meter hohen Zimmerdecken kann man die vielen Fliegen (und Wespen) auch nicht fangen. Man kann nachts die Fenster nicht offen lassen; aber es ist warm im Haus. Dadurch schlechter Schlaf. Wirklich ein Problem ! Im Haus (und auch außen) sind auch sehr viele Spinnen. Das war unangenehm.- Wärmepumpe / Wasserentkalkerpumpe im Flur (im Geräteschrank) sind recht laut- unbequeme Kopfkissen (große dicke Kugeln). Wer hat, sollte sich sein eigenes Nackenkissen mitbringen.- keine Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder (der Schuppen / die Garage war verschlossen und wir hatten auch keinen Schlüssel dafür).Ich würde das Haus noch mal buchen, dann aber privat Insektenschutzgitter provisorisch kleben und meine eigenen Kopfkissen mitbringen.

Wir hatten bezaubernde Tage und das Haus ist ein Traum. Bei der Buchung ist jedoch wichtig zu wissen dass der Ort in dem Haus sich befindet leider nicht besonders viel zu bieten hat. (Snaptun) 1 bistro welches schnelles Essen und Eis verkauft.
