Country cottage
The Cottage/Annex is ideal for all who need to escape from the hustle and bustle of life, with great walks on your door step and wonderful views over Horsham as you drive in. You can’t beat the healing nature and we often see deer in the fields/woodland at the rear of the property.
The annex is located on a elevated hill side location with amazing views over Horsham from the grounds. This spacious and bright property was new in 2015 and has only been rented from 2023.
The space
Kitchen: well equipped, good size kitchen with granite worktops and stainless steel appliances, with built in electric oven, gas hob, fridge, washing machine
Bedrooms: 1. One king size pocket sprung bed in master bedroom along with a 3ft singe bed, with ensuite shower/wet room.
Bedroom: 2. Two 3ft pocket sprung single beds.
Cottage sleeps a max of five plus infant in travel cot.
Fully equipped kitchen with Oven, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer Dishwasher, Kettle and Toaster.
Large Lounge/dining area with woodland view via French doors. Comfortably furnished with leather 3 seater sofa and 2 seater sofa , there is a flat screen TV should it be needed with Satellite channels including movies and sports , giving plenty of channels to choose from. Wifi is very fast at 80meg with fibre to the property so no problem with video calls or working from home.
Note that there is a small four seat fold out dining table and four seats at the breakfast bar.
Shower room: large walk in Wet room style shower cubicle, with white sanitary ware. Underfloor heating.
En suite Shower room: Large walk in Wet room style shower cubicle, with white sanitary ware. Underfloor heating.
Linen: all linen is included in the price. Should your stay be for two weeks, fresh bottom sheets are offered for the second week but need to be pre ordered at the time of booking.
Utility cupboard with washer/dryer
Guest access
As the property has a shared drive way you will be able to park outside to drop your luggage off however you will need to park overnight in car park approx. 75 meters away. This is a secure car park with electric gates.
Other things to note
EV Charging.
The owners of the main house have a 32amp three phase fast charger and it would be possible upon request to charge your car onsite, there is also access to outdoor plug sockets for 10amp standard plug sockets for trickle charging, The cost of EV charging isn’t included in your stay and if you wish to charge onside then additional fees at cost price for electric would need to be paid. The 32amp socket is a type 2 tesla style charging port that can charge up to 60 miles per hour if you have a compatible lead/car. Current electric rate is 36p per KW however the rate will vary but charged at cost.
