「was able to park just in front of stable room
work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄
the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals...

「Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. 」

「The ‘studio’ was a medium size bedroom with a shower room built into the corner and fridge, basin and microwave in a shelving unit along the wall. One of the two windows didn’t open and I had to move the bed so I could get the 2nd window open enough to try get fresh air in and cool the room. I definitely over paid a lot for what I got.」
