If we'd stayed longer, we would really have really appreciated to additional half bathroom as well. We loved the 12 foot ceilings, and how the 'old' (brick walls and, wood windowsills) and 'new' new blended masterfully together. We only couldn't figure out how to turn the air conditioning off or down, but given the heat outside, that wasn't a big problem (and it is likely due to our lack of tech...

"We had a wonderful family trip with my toddler and parents! The rooms were spacious and we had a beautiful view of the lake. Dinner at the rocks was incredible! We enjoyed the play structure and beach! The pool was perfect on our last morning there as it was raining. We can’t wait to make this a yearly tradition!"

"Great beach for little ones since it is very shallow for a long way out. Bringing the chairs down there was an excellent idea suggested by the hosts.Lots of dishes and cutlery and a nice large fridge and microwave. Great deck too with lots of room for all six of us. Parking was fine for three vehicles too.The only suggestions I would make is to replace the sliding door to the bedroom next to the kitchen since it is a little stiff and noisy in the night when getting up for a bathroom break, adding another mirror somewhere since there is only one small one in the bathroom, and putting a light over the kitchen sink.Thanks for a lovely stay Laurie and Kevin. It was nice to meet you and chat throughout the week and learn more about the area."

"It's been a few years since I have stayed here. It's clean but dated. It was a place to stay and sleep while I did track days at Calabogie Motorsports Park. They were very accommodating allowing me to stay an extra day and reasonably priced."
