Lake Cabin on the Bluff

Who among us hasn't dreamed of staying in a romantic, rustic cabin overlooking the lake? Our 3 bedroom 2 bath newly renovated retreat will have you relaxing the minute you arrive. This unique, one of a kind property invites you to view wildlife from the wrap around log deck or sit awhile on the porch swing and leave your stress behind. Inside you'll be met by warm glowing hardwood floors orginal to this 1940's cabin.

This fully furnished cabin on the bluff overlooking the lake is comfortable with central heat and air, 2 gas logs, cable TV, even a stereo with I-pod dock. For the chefs enjoyment is a full kitchen and dining room. A gas grill is waiting for you on the deck. Located only 2 and a half miles from Hot Springs and convenient for shopping this amazing hideaway sleeps 6+ people.

The Cabin was amazing. My family enjoyed the warm welcome and all the amenities provided. From basic condiments to amenities to make smores and popcorn. We were defiwell taken care. The owner Susan is a wonderful lady and made sure to inform us of all minute details. We definitely felt like home and it was a well rested trip. The cabin is on a beautiful location by the river and thanks to the weather we certainly enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The cabin had its rustic feeling and would've been nicer if the lower level were a little cleaner but nothing we cannot ignore. We loved it and would recommend it for a family. Very well maintained with a wonderful setup and location.

This cabin exceeded expectations. We loved what the owner did with the inside of the cabin. Clever floor plan. Loved the wood. Very comfortable beds. Great view of the Ouachita, although I would probably take down a few more trees. Quiet surroundings. Loved the hot tub and the multilevel deck. The fire pit was very nice to have on the property Saturday evening when the temps cooled a bit. Thank you for such a wonderful property.

We loved our stay at this cabin - very quiet and peaceful. Check in was quick and easy with all the details given to us in an email. The kitchen was nice and roomy with everything you could have needed along with a big dining table inside and outside. Having the hot tub, dock with canoe was a nice feature. You must give this place a visit!

Perfect Location

Cabin on the bluff was a great choice for us. We loved the seclusion and quietness. It rained one afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the cabin to just relax. The hot tub was definitely a bonus. We would recommend this place for anyone wanting a quite and enjoyable place to stay.

Relaxing weekend

My husband and I stayed the weekend for his birthday. It was such a relaxing location. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed he hot tub and the canoe. The fire pit was great for our fires at night. We will be going back in the fall.

Thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway

The only reason I chose to give a four out of five for the property is simply because there are several steps that are loose and need to be updated coming out from the cabin as well as going down to the hot tub. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Relax or go play. Perfect place to stay.

The cabin is exactly as advertised, cute, rustic, clean and comfortable. We came for Hot Springs National Park, which was fun for a three or four day getaway, but the highlight was the cute little cabin. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and the place had plenty of character for a restored 1940’s cabin. The view is fantastic and just sitting outside in one of the numerous comfortable spots is relaxing. We also enjoyed taking the canoe out around the lake. The kitchen is well stocked and we found everything we needed to make meals there. Of course there are numerous nearby options for restaurants and take out. With me, my wife, a college student and two high schoolers, it’s hard to find a place that checks all of the boxes, but for us this was the place.

After communications between myself, VRBO, and the property owner, the property owner refused to allow a refund be issued to us. We never stepped onto the property, but the owner kept our money, our cleaning fee, and everything else.
