Cozy vacation home for large groups by the river in the Belgian Ardennes

This spacious vacation home, located right on the Ourthe River and nestled among the cliffs of Houffalize, is the ideal place to enjoy the Ardennes. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, this house offers everything that families, friends, and colleagues need to relax and create lasting memories.

The house, the old Houffalize grain mill, is spacious and comfortably furnished, with enough living space for 48 guests. The modern design combines authentic elements such as wood, natural stone, and wrought iron—taking guests on a journey back in time—with contemporary finishing touches.

In the large living room, guests can enjoy a wood-burning stove, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. The interior is specifically designed so that everyone can feel the warmth of the Ardennes.
In the cozy La Chouffe bar, guests can host a small gathering and sample Houffalize’s pride and joy, La Chouffe. Don’t miss out on the traditional La Chouffe glasses. Drinks are available, but guests are welcome to bring their own.
The dining rooms are located on the house’s porches. The porches offer a beautiful view of the Ourthe River. In the large dining room, meals can be served on buffet tables. Buffet warmers are available.
The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The large gas range features two large ovens and five burners. In addition, there are air fryers, a microwave, a coffee maker, a Senseo machine, and a kettle. In short, everything you need for cooking.

For relaxation, the game room is also located on the first floor. In this room, guests can choose between air hockey, a foosball table, or darts. They can play at the same time without disturbing each other. For even more relaxation, there are board games, books, and a projector for additional leisure activities outside this room.
The bedrooms are located on the first and second floors and are equipped with bunk beds and single beds. Each room has a sink and a clothes rack. The mattresses are new, and most are ergonomic. Guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases, and comforters. Pillows are provided.
The bathroom is divided into 5 shower stalls and a sauna. A washing machine is also available. For adventurers with dirty clothes and shoes, there is a changing room accessible directly from the garden. Here, they can change and let their clothes dry. Toiletries are available on every floor.

The garden is large and surrounded by trees and the Ourthe River. Grills and benches are available. Fishing is allowed from the riverbank (fishing license required!). Guests can even paddle on the Ourthe. In the summer, a small beach forms along the riverbank near the house due to the low water level. There is also a place to store bicycles.
