An absolutely stunning location. Breathtaking view from almost every room. The kitchen has everything needed to make dinner. The manager was extremely helpful and replied very quickly. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing getaway

We loved our stay and the view was spectacular! The house was clean, relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. American river is just 5 minutes away, we couldn’t ask for a better location. Would definitely love to come back in the future.

Our experience here was nothing short of spectacular! The secluded, breathtaking home was everything and more for my husband and I. The hosts were amazing and so tentative. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

The House in the Clouds is definitely an exceptional property that provides beautiful getaways with views of Salmon Falls and gorgeous sunsets over Folsom Lake. The house is clean, fully equipped, comfy beds, and accurately detailed. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at this house! I hosted a dinner for family and friends, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed. The view was even more stunning than the pictures. The host was incredibly communicative, making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Paradise Near the Takeout

The House in the Clouds is exactly as described! The view of the river is exceptionally spectacular and the view of Folsom Lake is also very good. A/C works perfectly (important for a summer trip to his area), the beds are comfy and sheets soft, and the living area is perfect for a family! The hot tub was perfect and the view of the river from it was not to be missed. I don't usually comment in rental garages...but the huge three car garage was a perfect outdoor/indoor respite from the heat of the summer mornings and served as a great play area for our toddler grandsons...plus gave us ample storage space for our raft, kayak, etc... We loved our stay!

Tranquility

This home was amazing. The house truly fits it’s name. The scenery is breathtaking with views of the lake and river. The location was perfect with short distances to near by hikes and water sources, but also just minutes away from shopping and restaurants. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was more stocked with cookware then most places we’ve stayed. The communication with the property management was quick and efficient. We stayed here for my daughters birthday and when we arrived there were birthday balloons and a card form the host which made her feel extra special. Our mornings were spent soaking up the peace and quiet, watching the Jack rabbits play and listening to the birds sing. We spent our evenings watching the sunset over the river and relaxing in the hot tub. A little taste of life in the clouds. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

A magical oasis!

This property is so lovely! The views are breathtaking in every direction. Everything was so comfortable and peaceful. Very private and the owners were super accommodating and easy to communicate with. I’ll definitely be coming back!!
