As for people eating that are not guests, people would only be aware of this if they see someone being escorted out by staff as we do not allow this.

They canceled my reservation without sending me email or anything. And I have find another place that night!

Your reservation was not cancelled. Due to unexpected stayovers during a sell-out, we upgraded your standard room with 2 queen beds to a room with a king bed, a full-size pullout sofa, 2 televisions, and a whirlpool. You did not want a whirlpool in the room and that was all we had left. I apologize that solution was unsatisfactory to you.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable, WiFi was down, and breakfast was lackluster. Staff were great!

Our internet has been having issues but it is scheduled for the parts replacement on 4/22. I apologize for the inconvenience, As far as the other issues, I am unaware. I do hope you mentioned something to the front desk before checkout so that we had a chance to make things right.

As it was explained to you, all of the Best Western systems went down at all properties. The staff member was trying to ensure that no guests were accidentally checked into occupied rooms. She knocked and received no answer so she tried to enter the room to see if it was inhabited. The latch was on so she was unable to enter or see inside the room. It was a hectic night. I apologize that you still did not understand the situation. We did not mean to inconvenience you in any way. You asked for your night to be comped and I granted it.

I apologize that you had that experience. We are a completely non-smoking facility. Hopefully, you let the front desk know of any issues you had while you were at the property so that we had the opportunity to address them.

We stayed Sunday through Tuesday, we had to check in three times before they had any available “clean rooms” and the lobby smelled like weed! And then when we get to room the room smelled like moldy wet carpet and still had trash in drawers, dirty socks under bed, roach in the drawer where the tv sat on, it was a complete mess! There was also no towels in bathroom, Ice machine did not work, we were on the second floor and the elevator was out of service. And I guess they don’t do maid service because the second night we stayed I had to ask for towels again! Definitely would never recommend anyone staying here, pay a little extra and go stay at the Hilton! And there is about three gentleman clubs down the street, wouldn’t recommend for families! A lot of commotion at night, just disgusting!

I apologize that you stayed during a bad weekend. We had a new guy at the desk that was checking guests into rooms that weren't ready yet and our elevator was broken due to a guest. We are awaiting a new ice machine but until it arrives, we offer pre-bagged ice to every guest that asks. I hadn't heard anyone else mention a weed smell. However, I can understand that if you do not like the location, everything will seem the worst. This was a busy weekend of Rodeo so there were lots of people partying as I'm sure were in all hotels around the city. We do offer maid service in the room if you are staying more than 2 nights and offer towels upon request at any time. We have several families that stay with us regularly when visiting the city and there are no issues. I apologize again for your experience this weekend. This is not our normal level of guest service.

Convenient if you need to do some errands in Houston. Close to Galleria, but less expensive than Galleria hotels. A good option for a breve stay.

The rooms are very outdated and dirty. Lots of prostitution. The doors are locked after 9pm so if u forget your key u might have to wait in the cold or heat until a staff members wakes up from a nap. They lock the entrance at the back so if u have to park at the back be ready to walk to the front with all your belongings. Horrible hotel

There is no prostitution on the property and the doors are not locked at 9 pm. Sometimes, there are some issues with one particular side door that has to be reset. However, all of the other doors work with your key as long as you do not de-magnetize it. I apologize that you were so upset by this. It can be inconvenient and I am sorry.

The name BW “Galleria” led me to believe that hotel was in Galleria area. It was not and was surrounded by adult stores & strip clubs. We didn’t even check in. Pulled in parking lot & preceded to book a hotel in the real Galleria area. Did not appreciated being misled. Glad it was after dark when I arrived.

We are located 2 miles from the Galleria mall. We are not directly near the mall, which is a reason that we do not charge 'Galleria' prices. However, we have a clean and friendly hotel and many people are pleased with the location and its easy access. I apologize that this is not the area that you meant to book.

The room was spacious and accommodating. Unfortunately the room had a lingering, foul odor. The staff was on point and attentive.

While I am glad that the staff took such good care of you, I apologize for your experience with the odor. Sometimes, when the room attendant is cleaning, the smell of the cleaning materials can mask a lingering odor of food or cologne from previous guests. For future reference, alert the staff. They will either move you or spray the room with a non-invasive odor ban.

Old facilities
The breakfast is the best part of our stay. The breakfast room is clean and the food is delicious. There is no daily cleaning service. Cleaning is only once a week. So we dumped the garbage ourselves every day and changed towels every two days. If they can provide every other day cleaning would keep the place cleaner. The hotel carpet can use a shampoo clean too. The door locks are old . We have to reprogram the keys every day in order to open the doors. We almost missed our flight home because we got locked out after breakfast on the last day. The front desk person couldn’t open the door for almost an hour. It was early in the morning at 6 AM and the maintenance man works from 8 AM. That really made us panic! By 7 am, I grabbed a customer from the breakfast room to helped us and he managed to kick open the door! The back door to the parking lot didn’t work half of the time! The facility needs some updates! The employees are very friendly and super supportive!

While I am glad the employee worked diligently to get the door open, I apologize for the inconvenience. As a 15 year GM who has worked at multiple brands, sometimes these things happen with locks. The front desk called me and I advised him to have someone kick it in as this seemed the only recourse. That guest who helped has stayed here for a while and was more than willing to help as he has appreciated his time here with us. I am sorry this experience weighed in on your perspective. This is never a situation we want our guests to be in.

The night staff wasn't very helpful but the morning staff was much better. It sits near a strip club and according to the night guy the limited availability was due to people straggling in from the bars.

Stains and tears all over floors, filthy sofas, white spots, spills and stains on sofa. Jacuzzi did not work properly, no pressure no bubbles. Had to wear shoes j8st to walk to the bathroom. Was thankful i was allowed a refund.

When we spoke directly before checkout, I informed you that we had charged the previous guest for damages for using candles and leaving a mess in the room. I also let you know that I would be speaking with the housekeeper as this was not acceptable to not have reported the candlewax stains. I'm glad that you were advised how to properly use the jacuzzi but I take cleanliness very seriously. That is why I offered a full refund. My apologies again for your experience.
