Spring break
We spent my sons spring break from school here which was a great property to relax at but was also writhin easy distant to the space center which was a big reason we chose Texas as well as the children’s museum. When we weren’t out at these attractions the scenery along with the river pool and hot in were very relaxing.

Girls Weekend!
We very much enjoyed our weekend at this house! We had several things to celebrate and this property was perfect. Room for everyone. We cooked all our meals at the house, easily. Ping Pong, Cornhole, hot tub, pool, firepit, porch swings, floating dock...plenty to occupy your time or just chill and take in the scenery. We will return to this property

Beautiful property. Our family enjoyed the peaceful river view and all of the spacious seating areas/swings. The pool, river, jacuzzi and downstairs play area was fun! Our Host was friendly and accommodating as well as easy to communicate with, very responsive. Me and my family will definitely be back!!! It was the perfect weekend getaway, we weren't disappointed!

Amazing time
We had a lovely stay at this property, it was everything we had hoped and more! The property is beautiful, peaceful and it was just what we all needed. We swam in the pool, roasted marshmallows in the firepit, fished, used the hot tub. Mariana was the best host and was always available, thanks so much for everything. We will be definitely coming back in the future ❤️

Super Peaceful and Enjoyable
The property is super peaceful and gorgeous! Very quiet with the occasional bird chirping or cooing from the neighbors chickens. Perfect place to wind down. About 30-40 minutes from downtown (averaged $75 for an Uber trip) but other than that not bad at all!!

Wonderful girls get away!
The pictures for this home made it look larger than it was, but it worked wonderfully for our group of 9 girls, other than juggling two bathrooms and trying to get to a conference by 9:00am was challenging :). There is a 3rd bathroom but it is located underneath the house in outdoor space and is more a bathhouse for rinsing off after water play. No mirrors no shower curtain- not ideal for women getting ready for the day. Marianne, the host was incredibly accommodating and readily available to meet our requests and was an absolute delight. She realized remotely that the heat wasn’t working properly before we did and made sure to call for service immediately and remedied the situation without any inconvenience to us! This was a beautiful location, was peaceful and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had no television or internet issues and thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Houston!

Wi-Fi never worked. Was not able to get anyone out to fix it the whole stay.
The Wi-Fi never worked. Had to use hot spots on our phones the whole stay. Little things around the house that’s just needed a little TLC to make stay better. Shower head in master needs cleaned or replaced. Wall next or shower in master looked moldy the house did hold all for thanksgiving dinner and worked well for us for that day. Views where great. Was nice and quite.

Once we were made aware of the television connection issue, we immediately responded and attempted to contact a specialized technician to resolve the concern. The Wi-Fi was functioning well but the television wasn't connecting to the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, since it was Thanksgiving weekend, we were unable to find any available technician to come to the property right away. As soon as the weekend was over, we resolved the issue and replaced the television with a brand new larger one along with a different Wi-Fi. We do all we can to create the best experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Great Family Vacation Home
This was an amazing family vacation home! The amenities were amazing and it wasn’t a far drive to multiple little restaurants. Communication with the owner was great! She was extremely friendly and approachable! We will definitely be renting this vacation home again in the future!

Stayed here for the July 4 weekend. Mariana was very helpful With check in and late check out, was constantly in communication responding to our questions during the stay Even though she was out of country. And beautiful location by the side of the river with pool and Jacuzzi, absolutely great experience. A couple of snags I would like to mention is the Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible, There is no cable TV either, if you are hoping to watch TV news or other shows you are in bad luck. Also found a cockroach in the bathtub one day. Fortunately there were bug sprays available in the property that was helpful. I can totally understand staying in a nature preserve with these little bugs here and there. Wasn’t much of a nuisance. I would highly recommend this property.

I went with my family for a home away and I am speechless. The house is exactly (or even better) than the pictures and to our surprise it had a pool!!!! The house was very clean and well maintained, and the contact was always available to answer my questions and followed up with me to make sure everything was good. Definitely a great experience and will repeat.

Perfect little nook on the river!
It was the perfect little cozy getaway! The family loved it, we will definitely be back!! We did some fishing, played some cornhole and ping pong. A very relaxing spot away from the hustle and bustle of Houston and not far from home.

This place look just as it does in the picture, however the pictures exclude the beautiful new hot tub… it was so peaceful and provides plenty to do for singles or family…And the owner of the house customer service was excellent… I want to reserve again in the future.

Great Texas Getaway
This property was the perfect TX getaway. The house/property is exactly as pictured and described. We mostly stayed in the house and cooked/played games/enjoyed the view from the jacuzzi. While we brought pretty much everything we thought we would need, we were pleasantly surprised by how much the home was already equipped with when we arrived. Definitely a property we'd all stay at again! One note is that on the way to the house, you've got to drive through an oil/gas refinery, don't let this frighten you, once at the house, the view and tranquility are perfection!

My son had a jiu jitsu event on February 7th and it being our first time in Houston were kind of nervous renting a home not knowing what kind of neighborhood the house would be located in. So I read every review closely and looked at every picture and decided to go with this house and let me tell you I'm so happy I did!! The house looks exactly like the pictures. No false advertising with this house you get exactly what the description states. My family members ranged from 16 months to 65+ and we all had a wonderful time. My parents enjoyed the swing while drinking their coffee because the view of the river is so beautiful throughout the day. My husband and boys (9 & 15) had a great time fishing and actually caught and released alot of catfish. As for me I had peace of mind knowing we were in a safe neighborhood, my family was having a great time, and the kids and hubby were out of my hair for little while lol. Don't hesitate renting this house I promise you won't regret it. Marina was also great responding to any questions I had.

We brought four generations together for a great weekend at your property. The neighbors were kind, friendly, and helpful. We got answers to our questions in quick texts from the owner. We had so much fun playing with grandchildren in the yard by the river while some took the boat out for fishing. Just a great vacation spot!

Hidden Gem close to home!
Perfect weekend getaway just minutes outside of Houston. We were tired of being stuck at home and booked this place without knowing what to expect. It housed 2 families of 4 comfortably. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was exactly as described and came equipped with those little extras that have you driving to the store multiple times in other places (paper towels, dish detergent, basic spices, bar soap and travel body wash, etc.). The views from inside with wall to wall windows were spectacular and outside we enjoyed floating off the dock and watching the wake boarders and speed boats go by. The river is extra, extra wide and beautiful with no neighbors across the way. The property is large and downstairs the teenagers (and adults) played with the Cornhole set, the ping pong table and we sat on the swing. We used the outdoor grill. The lot was fenced with a nice wrought iron gate closing in the driveway. Lastly, the beds were comfortable and of nice quality. My husband usually complains about his back when we sleep out, but we had no issues. What turned out to be a 45 minute drive for us from Clear Lake, felt like a full fledged trip out of town. Thanks for sharing your house with us. We will definitely be coming back!!

We are a family of 5. Property was very clean and had about all we needed. Even a lighter for the grill. We always forget that. Fishing was great off the newly built small pier. Just bring your sunscreen and cold drinks and you’re good. We loved the shady areas in the lovely grass. We have dogs at home so we don’t get to enjoy our yard much. It was beautiful and large enough to throw the frisbee or toss a football. We got cozy and watched Netflix at night on the fold out bed. That was convenient but the kids had plenty of room in the bedroom with two bunk beds and a queen bed in the second room. The master had a very comfortable bed and there are plenty of blankets.
