Comfortable and safe

Safe area, close to good restaurants and the museum district. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Great Location

The location of this property is amazing it is close to everything and super convenient. The cleanliness though is not great, minimal at best. The door in the back where you're supposed to enter was broken and did not lock (not very safe). Overall it was a good stay but I would not return.

My daughter and teenager grandchildren were in for a weekend of rodeo. Convenient for an evening walk to the park and also Metro rail. Would recommend.

A very nice apartment

I stayed for several cold and rainy days. Bishp’s Haven was cozy, clean and well equipped. I didn’t use it much but the kitchen is particularly nice.

roach infestation. that's pretty much all you need to know. shortly after we checked in, i saw a german cockroach on the kitchen counter. i notified the owner-i was told that it was just because of the rain. then i saw a baby german cockroach on another counter-that's not rain, that's an infestation. when i contacted the owner again and said i didn't know if i could stay, he apologized and offered a discount on my NEXT stay. dude, you have roaches, i'm storing my stuff in my car so i don't take them home and barely able to sleep and you think i'm going to stay again?? no thanks. it did look mostly clean, the photos are definitely better than reality. the entrance was a little sketchy, and they were renovating another unit so it was very loud.

Fantastic Thanksgiving Holiday Stay!

My husband, college age daughter, and I stayed at the Bishop’s Haven 1 during the Thanksgiving holiday & weekend. We had a wonderful stay! We chose the property because of the location and it did not disappoint. We were minutes away from everything we wanted to do, and wished we had more time to explore the museums and restaurants in the area. Our dog accompanied us on our trip, and my daughter and I felt comfortable taking him out for his evening walk as there were many neighbors out and about doing the same - overall we felt very safe at the property. We found the Bishop’s Haven 1 to be exactly as advertised! It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was more than enough seating for all of us and a couple of guests in the living room. Overall, we had an excellent stay and will not hesitate to book again when in Houston!
