「This is a perfect cabin for a couple’s getaway. Our favorite part was sitting on the back deck in the evenings with the Mountain View and enjoying the stillness and song of nature. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you need!」

「H'owl at the moon is just what the soul needs! Beautiful nature, peaceful, and quiet. Thank you Bill for opening your home and well maintained property. We had a blast walking the trails and playing in the creek and pond. My husband thinks he is a ring toss champ now! lol We hope we can make this a yearly stop in our travels!」

「Absolutely loved this cabin! Wish we stayed longer. So peaceful on the back deck hearing the running water of the Rockfish River. All accommodations as described. Owner is easy to contact and provides great information.」

「The cottage was beyond our expectations and we have stayed all over the world. We have even booked again for next year, which we have never done with a property but this place was perfect, relaxing, well equipped and our dog loved it too.We would highly recommend it!」

「Our stay in this delightful cabin was amazing. Lorraine could not have been a better host, and everything we needed was there. Cozy was a great word, as my son and I felt it was a home away from home. We had planned on immediatley hiking, but decided to relax at the cabin for a bit first. loved the chickens and ducks, and they did not make any noise. Will definitely be staying again.」

「Cabin was perfect for our weekend family trip. The property was peaceful and picturesque and the cabin was cozy and inviting. Our kids loved the loft bunkbed room and going down to the field to watch the horses.」

「We had a wonderful time during our stay in Virginia. We enjoyed the secluded, tranquil vibe of the property. The property and the surrounding countryside are absolutely beautiful. It was very convenient to visit the Shenandoah National Park access points, as well as Monticello. We highly recommend this home for your vacation stay.」

Since our last stay, the kitchen and upstairs bath have been nicely renovated (new counter tops and tile etc.) The home is nicely appointed with typically needed items. The floor was very dirty and the kitchen amenities need a review and refresh! The increase in price due to the new counters and tile isn't overcome by no other updates and not so clean property! Those are our only pieces of feedback and easily fixed. ...

「Great cabin in a phenomenal area of the country. Property was exactly as noted. Communication with host was extremely responsive. Would stay here again for sure.」

「The house is in a quiet spot but close to everything on the mountain. The views from the living room are exquisite!」

「We loved staying here, super clean and the bed was very comfy!」

「We enjoyed the remote location. Very quiet and peaceful.」

「The house was perfect for our stay. We have an event at the resort every year and we get group rates for staying in the resort but we all like to stay together. This is the first year we didnt rent a cabin through the resort and it was excellent. There were six of us. There was plenty of space for individual time and lots of space for hanging together. The place was clean and comfy. We had two adult teenagers with us and the upstairs was perfect for them. The hot tub was exceptional especially...
