No Adequate Words or Photos Will Do!

Immaculate with attention to every possible detail. January off season for our anniversary and it was amazing. Fires down by the water. Meal prep in a chef grade kitchen. Charcuterie and cocktails on an oversized outdoor covered porch shared with a bald eagle, bluebirds and snow geese. Stunning stay!

Viewtopia Retreat

Our family stayed at the Viewtopia this past weekend and several of our kids stated that the house is a dream house! The views and the amenities are amazing! We hope to stay here again. Weather was not the greatest but we still made the best of it. 5 star experience! The rental staff were so very friendly and helpful also! Seamless process through and through!

Absolutely magnificent

This home is a dream in a spectacularly beautiful location. Every day we kept discovering more amazing features of this stunning and perfectly designed house. It’s the perfect get-away. We will come back in the summer or fall to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor seating areas, including a newly built, gorgeous dock and the paddle boards and kayaks that are abundantly provided. This house was the perfect pick!

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to spend time at this amazing property! It was an absolutely idyllic weekend. We packed for nothing -- just wish we never had to leave!

Perfect

Truly a fantastic place to spend a weekend or longer at the lake. Clean and super comfortable, and it was a joy to cook in that amazing kitchen (it could use a dish drainer and a large pasta pot). Even though it was a holiday weekend, it was a relatively quiet spot. All of the outdoor spaces had great views, and watching the sunset from the dock was a highlight. Lots of birds for birders to watch, and a large osprey tower in paddling distance - we got to see one diving for fish, which was pretty great. Food Lion isn't far for groceries, and there are nice easy hiking trails in the State Park, which is six minutes from the property. Dogs are welcome on the patio at Drifters restaurant, and food there is decent. Wineries nearby, as well as little markets with a decent selection of wine and beer. Take care on the bottom step coming down from the master bedroom - it blends in with the floor and can be easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. And bring tick spray. Thanks to the homeowners for sharing this beautiful and peaceful retreat, and to the property managers who were extremely friendly and responsive.
