"Pros:SpaciousCleanUpdated appliances, etc.Big DeckPlenty of seating inside and outClose to shoppingGarage space for one vehicle if neededgood communication from hostCons:Close to busy road, you will hear the trafficNot a lot of yard spaceVery Steep, rocky, backyard with no carved out path down to the fire pit (there is a deck fire pit, so not a big deal).There are some general maintenance things that should have been taken care of, especially since the house was supposed to have been inspected by a vrbo rep prior to our stay (according to property manager): multiple burnt out light bulbs. Both coffee makers didn't work properly. The sliding glass door from the dining room was very difficult to open and close, had to spend time cleaning the tracks just to make it somewhat manageable for the stronger people in the party to open, still very difficult. Basement TV was broken (screen cracked from pool balls I'm guessing). Loft pullout couch was broken so only could accommodate a child. Many broken or missing slats in the windows and some in the vertical blinds. These things should've been addressed but it appears as if they have been like that for some time.Keep in mind that the dock is about a 1/3 of a mile to walk, and it's all hill. We knew that coming in so I'm not docking anything for that, just want to remind people of this. Might be good to bring wagon, scooter, bike etc. to get items down to the boat/dock. Thank you for a great stay!"

"The hotel itself was good & the breakfast too. The hot tub is the problem - it wasn't hot. It was barely warm. The sauna wasn't hot either, even after 30 minutes of warm up time. If you don't care about those 2 things, the stay is nice enough"

"Alicia and Ryan thank you so much for a great 4 night 5 day stay at your beautiful VRBO. It was a perfect get away for our family of 6. We are a big baseball/softball family and are never all together so when the season is all over we always do a getaway to be together as a family. This one was one of our favorites. Waupaca is such a cute little town with the most beautiful lakes. House was perfect and had everything we needed. From comfy beds, enough towels, to all the kitchen supplies you needed. We can’t wait to tell all our friends about this hidden gem. Thank you again and we look forward to being back!!"

"We enjoyed our stay immensely. It felt private, but close enough to restaurants and Waupaca. Enjoyed the water equipment. Saw some wildlife too. The lake was great, clear water and warm. The weather was good. Cool at nite."

"Wonderful appointed cabin with beautiful finishes. I have zero things negative to say about it. The only thing would be it would’ve been nice if we could’ve been on the water again beautiful cabin the launch for your boat is only two blocks away. Excellent ratting ."

"Great place to stay! We enjoyed the lake and the peaceful quiet neighborhood. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We all agreed that it was a great place and we would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area! We boated out to the sandbar on the lake in the evenings and enjoyed the water."
