The unit that we rented was renovated and had a very good efficiency kitchen. Our unit, and I think all units, had a balcony with an excellent view of Gull Lake. The outdoor swimming pool was very well maintained and located in a natural setting surrounded by trees. The extensive grounds were well maintained and there was a dock to facilitate swimming in Gull Lake. The location is excellent, with easy access to many local tourist features.

I had a pleasant stay at Pinedale Inn. The property appears to be well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue I experienced was that the bath towel shed quite a bit of lint, so it took some effort to get it off afterward. Aside from that, everything else was great, and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at Pinedale. It's so handy having the effeciciency units, breakfasts are a breeze and being able to cook there saves a lot of time and extra cost. Bear in mind, other than the basics, you need to bring absolutely everything, such as coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, cling wrap, leftover containers, canopener, etc. There's an awesome outdoor covered BBQ shelter with 3 clean bbqs plus a few picnic tables w umbrellas. The pool area is basic, but clean & tidy There's several bistro sets and a few lounge chairs, it's a great place to hang out on a sunny day. The rooms & private balconies have beautiful views of the pines and Gull Lake. There's docks to fish from and a playground for kids. This is not luxury accommodations by any means but it had what we needed to enjoy a 2 night stay. The beds are comfy and we had a terrific sleep, apparently right through a thunderstorm. We'll stay here again next time we're in Gravenhurst.

When booking this lovely place one has to recognize that it is an older motel that has been refreshed. I personally love the "walk out" feature and the balcony with a great view of the lake. Everything was spotless and functional. There is everything you need in the efficiency units for cooking, barbecuing, etc. However, it is an efficiency unit and you need to bring your own supplies - this is not a high-rise hotel with a Keurig. I loved it and would not hesitate to stay again - clean, quiet, awesome scenery, polite staff, and just plain beautiful. If you don't like it - don't let the aluminum door hit you on the way out!

We stayed in a ground floor, tidy, clean motel style apartment. The balcony overlooked the lake and was warm and comfortable. Nice hot shower and a well equipped kitchinette. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a larger unit than the one we booked. Great value for money.
