「Could not have asked for a better stay in Merida. The listing looks exactly like the photos—very beautiful spot. The pool was a very nice touch for an afternoon dip when the temps get higher. Overall, the place is excellent; but the MVP of this is the host. 「We picked a perfect week to visit as a storm was coming in as we left. The upstairs apartment is just perfect with a front (Beach side) porch and a back (private pool side) porch. Ute is a wonderful host and provides a fully stocked kitchen, drinking water, soaps & shampoos, linens & towels. 「The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!」
