「This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.」

「Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.」

「I’m never sure what neighborhoods a good when I’m traveling. Turns out, this one was perfect. We felt very safe and it was quiet and peaceful.My husband and I stayed with our two adult children for three nights. We all had enough private space in clean, comfortable bedrooms. The back deck was perfect for relaxing evenings and slow mornings.」
