Fun, mid century beach house.

We loved our family holiday at Rose Cottage. Clean and very comfortable with authentic 50’s vibe made for a fun time. Perfectly located very close to beaches, and very peaceful with national park over the road. Not a standard apartment or house but much more fun.

Simple holiday shack - perfect for a quiet getaway

The house is located opposite bushland so we saw plenty of wildlife and had quiet nights. It was a real treat to stay here, as it reminded me of a holiday house my family used to own. Everything is original, including the 60 year old fridge that worked a charm! The only niggle was that the beds could do with an update. The single bed frames squeaked and the queen bed had probably seen better days. There was also quite a bit of clutter in the house that could be removed to enable better enjoyment of the amenities, i.e. some of the cupboards were full with stored clothes and shoes.

Great stay!

The house was not a classy hotel but exactly what we needed when getting away from the city to enjoy the beauty around Hyams beach. The house made a perfect little getway virtually seconds from the beach.
