"The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do.
Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs.
I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff."
"It was very nice staying here! We’ve had a long way before arrival but ended up getting a bigger room and some nice recommendation's for dinner - very lovely!

With a small number of luxury lodges, each designed for complete privacy, it offers a serene escape in the heart of the African bush. The accommodations are beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could need, including excellent WiFi. However, it’s the stillness of the wilderness that truly soothes the soul, inviting...

"We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable but not quite what I expected for deluxe. It was comfortable and clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were the best we had on this trip to KZN. The outside area is very pretty and we enjoyed having our breakfasts outside."
"I can’t recommend Rhino Coast Guest House highly enough.
On arrival we were very warmly met by the owner Don who was incredibly informative, helpful and enjoyable to talk with.
Don was also super helpful with some car rental issues we had.
The accommodation is very comfortable, the rooms are really tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed.
The location is brilliant, close to all restaurants in the Main Street and also to the beach.
The breakfast was so generous and one of the best we had...

The staff’s hospitality was exceptional. From the flawless check-in and check-out process to their warm Zulu smiles, they made me feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured every need was met effortlessly.
The food was outstanding, with both breakfast and dinner showcasing home-cooked quality and local flavors. Service during meals was attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall sense of comfort.
