"The hotel was maintained well. The meals were also satisfying. The public bath was rather compact but sufficient. The few cons were that the bed matrees was pretty firm and the attractions around the hotel weren't so vibrant. However, if you are there to fully relax with no running around for sightseeing, it should be fine with good meals and hot spring. Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights there."

"This was the last hotel we stayed in during our two weeks. We stayed at another APA hotel across the street at the start of our trip. The hotel was ok. It was clean but the rooms are very small with a step up to get into the bathroom. The front staff did not speak much English and they have a fully automated self check in that was a little frustrating. Breakfast was at a restaurant attached to the hotel. It was fair and when you walked in they gave you a sheet that explained you were not to change seats, talk to anybody or dawdle. I needed to get 4 rooms because I was traveling with family and needed an affordable hotel, under $125 night. Location is great with plenty of restaurants and close to the trains. Another plus was being across from Ueno park that had museums and a zoo."

"Overall, a good hotel, the dining inside the restaurant is pretty expensive but they do have a buffet. I’d like that they have two convenience stores inside the hotel, which makes it helpful though. There’s really nothing to do outside of that hotel. The area is pretty industrial. But the transportation to and from the airport is very convenient."

"The room was as per the photos shown. The amenities were of good quality. I like the soft bath towel. Hotel was very conveniently located, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops like uniqlo and Donki. It was right next to TX line, and within 10 minutes walking distance to another 2 lines."

"Excellent room. As advertised. Hotel is clean, safe and in an excellent location for walking and shopping. Air conditioning worked well. Laundry option was very helpful and easy. Wifi worked well. There are no television stations so you must cast your own shows and movies from your own device."

"We stayed here for one night after arriving and one night before we went home to Canada. The first room was great. Really liked the spacious shower and high water pressure (all the shower heads in Japan offered very powerful water sprays!). Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Different room on our way back. Still clean, but was a little run down and not as nice as the room on our first stay. Staff were very kind and friendly, and they spoke English decently. I left my electric toothbrush in our room on our first stay, and they had it when I returned two week later. Downstairs lobby was very inviting with a great selection of amenities and a Family Mart. Breakfast was awesome! Can be very busy hotel - lots of tour groups of US high school kids seem to stay here. Close proximity to convenient stores, restaurants, a grocery store, and within a 15 minute walk to the train station. 10 minute Uber to the mall. Really appreciated the free shuttle to the airport."

"Room was clean, but carpets were well worned and made the room "feel" dirty. Candy and drink lounge was very nice after a very long day at Disney and very crowded around 900pm when the Disney crowds return back to hotel. Room included a shoe dryer which was very helpful as it was raining for a couple of days during our visit. Laundry on ground floor 600yen to wash. Drying was a more. It's quite a small machine so you might need to do multiple loads."
