Modern and cozy vacation apartment for 2 people in Idar-Oberstein

The vacation rental was newly renovated in 2017. New double-glazed windows were installed in various rooms. The furniture was also replaced as part of the renovation. The apartment can accommodate 1–2 people. Guests are welcome to use the garden, which includes a barbecue area. Leisure activities in the region: Gemstone Museum, Mineral Museum, Steinkaulenberg gemstone mines, historic Weiherschleife, Felsenkirche, copper mine near Fischbach, Wildenburg wildlife preserve, and—just a few minutes’ drive away—many scenic hiking loops of varying difficulty ranging from 6 to 20 km in length.<br>In the immediate vicinity of the vacation rental, there is a gas station with a small shop as well as a small butcher shop. A bakery is also just a few minutes’ walk away. The nearest major shopping area is either in downtown Idar or on Vollmersbacher Straße. Both are easily accessible by bus, car, or on foot. The German Gemmological Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Edelsteinkunde) e.V. is 1.8 km away on foot and 2.7 km by car from the apartment. You can also use one of the city bus routes nearby.
