There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly, polite, and very helpful. The room was clean enough, but lots of the bathroom features didn't work very well, such as just about no water coming out of the taps. Overall, low cost and enjoyable.

A lovely hotel that exceeded our expectations. Fabulous food with a great choice at both breakfast and dinner. The room had been refurbished to a high standard and was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and Michael made us feel very welcome.

We had a lovely New year's stay in this cottage, going for coastal walks and getting cosy by the fire when we came back. Ilfracombe generally somewhat run down but plenty of other things within North Devon, that are easily within reach in a car, more than compensate. Exmoor and many of the beaches are a delight.
Ilfracombe seemed a bit tired but the Damien Hirst artwork ‘Verity’ was very striking standing on the pier.
Ilfracombe is a nice place to visit, shame the people in the nice place are miserable buggers
