“Quiet area, helpful staff. Great pool to take a dip. Bring your mosquito spray if you will be outside at night. Breakfast and dinner were filling, and nicely prepared. They have both buffet and a la carte decently priced for a place like this. Convenient to Sigiriya”

“We were extremely pleased with our stay at Pura Sanda Villa. We were a party of five adults (mostly women) and two young kids and we stayed for 4 nights. Our hosts were friendly, loving, attentive and respectful. The matron/owner Dissanayaka cooked breakfast and dinner at our request (for which we paid separately) and her dinner curries were the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The location was very close to Sigiriya Rock (about a 15 - 20 minute drive). The property was about 100 meters off the……

“We weren't happy with our accommodation at first but after we expressed our disappointment to the Manager, he was very accommodating and offered us another room. Throughout our stay, his service and the staff has been very accommodating. The environment of the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast and dinner served at the hotel were delicious too. The only downside is how outdated the rooms and facilities were. If only the owner and upper management would upgrade, I would go back to stay……

“Very clean room and lovely hosts. AMAZING breakfast!!! Beautiful location in nature with lots of animals to wake you early in the morning. The one stressor I had during my visit is that I am scared of spiders, and some big ones got into the room after I did. Yashodara handled this amazingly. She got them out, gave me a bug spray, and provided me with her phone number in case the spiders disturbed me in the night. (They didn't.) Definitely a nice place to stay in Habarana! “We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. ”

“Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

“Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens……
