「We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by a super friendly staff member with whom we later had great conversations with in the bar. We loved this place! The location was convenient and had uncovered parking, the breakfast buffet was super tasty, the room was very comfortable, and again- the staff was the best! Will definitely return!」

「Would love to try the main building as Hotel Weissbad next time. This time we stay with Weissbad Lodge in an attic room. The lobby is new and self served. The interior of the attic room though spacious however looks old and dirty with the choice of the floor wood and the lighting. Won’t choose the Lodge next time. But the receptionist in Hotel Wiessbad ( check in here though I stay at the lodge) was very helpful and friendly. Clear instructions and good advice on the tourist spots. 」

「Checking in was seamlessly done by myself without any contact with the hotel staff, however, I later needed help with purchasing from the vending machine but no staff was around to assist. Overall, it was a great experience and I liked this place.」

「Absolutely AMAZING views, comfortable rooms, and easy parking (an amazing amenity after being in larger towns in Germany & Austria!). There was some construction being done on the restaurant and community room, but there was a free breakfast provided for kloster guests at a nearby hotel. For dinner, take a short drive over to Ristorante Pizzeria Sapori for some amazing Italian food, and the most lovely restaurant owners!」

「This was the perfect hotel to stay in, as it was right in the heart of Appenzell and made everything accessible by foot. Bonus points for the parking lot for our rental car.」
