We were advised we had been upgraded to a larger unit which was ideal for our family situation. The heating was on so the unit was so cosy. The owners went the extra mile by placing cardboard on our car window to prevent the frost taking hold overnight. What great service and very thoughtful.

Very polite, friendly, very nice lady who was serving me in the office. Nice gentleman I met at door before I entered my room, very friendly and respectful. The room is very clean and very nice and I feel comfortable and satisfied with it. I will be staying there next time thanks 😊

Uncomfortable bed (subjective). Noisy. Run down. Check-out time is 10 am, but the cleaner decided to help herself and entered my room at 8:30 am unannounced. Says she knocked and she may have, but I didn't hear it and it makes no difference either way. I had not checked out and she was ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED to enter my room. There is NO EXCUSE! Reception thought it was funny and said "its not our fault". Disgusting hotel.

The location is next to the 24hour convenience store, and on the main road, walking distance to the Invercargill Center, Woolworths and Pak'N'Save. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room got cleaned everyday.

We arrived in exhausted but found our host lovely and keen to tell us about their town. We had a lovely stop over and felt very comfortable. The accomodation seemed a little old world but actually was comfortable and pleasant. Jan was most helpful too.

Great owners, made my stay comfortable while working in town. They were helpful and provided great recommendations for places to eat as well as delivery to room. Clean tidy comfy place.

After arriving in Invercargil late that night, the greeting and room were a pleasure. The room had all promised amenities and our hostess was very helpful in preparing us for the next stages of our journey.

First Timers in Invercargill

Lovely spot and easy to get to and from town, restaurants and the Burt Munro rally. Motel owner kindly dropped us off at a venue which was appreciated as the weather was not kind.
