Stanford House enjoys views up river to Inverness Castle, which is only 10 minutes’ walk from the house along a lovely river path. It is in fact striking how close everything in Inverness is to the property. The house itself offers a great standard of accommodation. Entering the property through the historic vestibule there’s a formal living room on the right with views out to the river and city. We were a party of 3 and really enjoyed our stay at the house.
We were a party of 3 and really enjoyed our stay at the house. Brilliantly located for exploring Inverness and the wider Highlands area. Very comfortable, with amazing views of the river and city across from it and close to a great pub called The Waterfront which we had a great dinner at. There is also parking outside if you have a car. We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a good sized base central to Inverness.
