Bare basics but clean.
Bare basics but clean. Polite and friendly staff. Bunk-beds. Easy walking distance to bus and train station, and to main street. Only slightly further to Erin Court and Botanical Gardens. Stayed Friday - Saturday, noise-level low. Would stay here again.

An ideal hostel for travellers with limited budget
Situated directly next to a bus station, it is at the centre of the Inverness city. Most tours are departed from the tourist centre, which is only a 5-min walk from the hostel. Conveniently located, there are many choices of restaurants, pubs and even grocery stores nearby. Only downside is that there is a limited number of toilets and bathrooms each floor. Although the toilets and bathrooms are constantly being used, they are very clean.

It was the only available accommodation in town for the night, other than a five star hotel, so my choice was limited. Even for a hostel, it wasn't very clean or comfortable.

Great Location and common room at bargain price
Great location, very cosy common room and good sized kitchen. Albeit the room itself is big run down, with just bearable linens, this is a bargain at the centre of the touristy town, after all who would spend the whole day in a hostel? Overall great experience and would come back again.

Just a rest-stop
Hostel was a bit difficult to find - just a doorway in an alleyway, with a keypad. Looked sketchy, but once you get in it's alright. Internet was on and off, and didn't work in the room, but the sitting area/lounge was nice, with a television and DVDs. I didn't use the kitchen. Overall, a place to go in and sleep, then leave in the morning.
