The bed was comfortable and the views out of our room window was decent. There is no front desk. There is a bell that you ring or you walk into one of the restaurants to speak to a staff member. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage and depending on where your room is, it will be a bit of a task to get them up the stairs. A lot of small winding hallways. There was noticeable black mold and grime in the bathroom along on the shower wand, shower head and walls as well as the grab bar. Street parking was relatively easy.

The owners and staff are welcoming, helpful, and provide a hospitality that is second to none. The food they provide is delicious and if you are lucky enough to be there on Sunday, get the roast. The view from the front porch is amazing and we were fortunate enough to see the dolphins. Our favorite stop in all of Scotland.

We had a good stay. The room was a bit small for 4 of us but neat. Beds were good and bathroom was neat. Expedia customers don’t get free breakfast so we had to pay.

Great stay! Beautiful view, kind and helpful staff, pulled straight into parking right in front of hotel. Not walkable to downtown, but worth it.

I am giving this rating because things came up during the trip and we were running late. The hotel basically said too bad that is when we close for the night. We paid full price as it was charged to our card and we didn’t spend the night. We had to scramble late at night to find another hotel in Iverness. Luckily the local Courtyard by Marriott let us come late even though they were closed. Thank you to them for understanding our circumstances and being accommodating. We checked in about 20min after closing so it wasn’t unreasonably late. Considering this is the hospitality industry we were disappointed. Unfortunately circumstances happen while travelling and this hotel was not very understanding and accommodating. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My room was cozy with a lovely sea view! I arrived late, after having a flat tyre and the manager was very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was very good.

I stayed at North Kessock hotel for 1 night on business. Everything was great. Staff were very helpful and the dinner & breakfast were really good. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely old seaside hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We had a delicious dinner and took walks along the waterfront. The rooms are quiet, with fully modernized bathrooms. Only about 5-10 minutes from Inverness, and perfectly positioned to explore the Highlands or simply enjoy the view. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property owners and staff where amazing help for a person who had been separated from their luggage for 5 days! They made great suggestions for shopping to replace my missing items and they gladly agreed to hold my luggage until I could return to their property once it was finally delivered to them. Lovely, supportive team.

Absolutely loved this little hotel as our base for our Highland drives. Great staff went above and beyond for the simplest of requests. For amenities, it was what you’d expect for a small family run hotel - nothing fancy, but everything was just perfect. Location was just outside of Inverness which also turned out to be great - super easy access off of A9 meant quick and easy starts to our day trips, and then a comfy bed to return to each night. Would love to go back.

One night stay.
Small hotel with mostly friendly, customer focused, staff. Nice room with small but adequate bathroom. Excellent food. Bar area not so good, as there is no comfortable seating. Staff were all very friendly except one who was very abrupt when we ‘checked out’. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Inn keepers in a typical old British hotel. Upside - quiet room & the beds were comfy, good breakfast and a great view of the water. Downside - small room and tiny bathroom/shower typical of this period property. However the fryer smell from the busy kitchen downstairs permeates the upper floors. Suggest they close the door to the kitchen from the Inn side of the main entrance to help contain the odours.
