quaint little place
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed the view! Thank you for the laundry services! beds were comfortable and the place was so clean. The driveway was a monster but to be expected for those views!

Het is mooie cottage. De locatie is alleen lastig te vinden. Er is geen mobiel bereik in de buurt van de cottage, waardoor we het precieze huisje moeilijk konden vinden. Ook de onverharde weg omhoog is voor de eerste keer wel een uitdaging. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.

The perfect place stay. Wish now we could have stayed longer.
The pictures do not do justice to this place. The house had everything we needed including a warm fire at night. Barry was great. We enjoyed talking with him. The view was spectacular. Our only regret came the day we left. All of us agreeded we should have stayed longer. This was a wonderful place to begin our Scotland holiday.

Amazing 19th Century Croft Cottage
Two couples. Outstanding layout for four. Well stocked with basic needs (coffee, tea, etc). Home was very cozy and clean. Great location to access Inverness, Ft William, and surrounding area without being in the hubbub of the cities.

Croft house
We stayed in several accommodations over our two weeks in scotland and this was our favorite. The host was very friendly and accomodating our larger vehicle. Beautifully restored home with modern conveniences and a splendid view of the loch and canal entrance.

Best Loch Ness House!
Cozy spacious house with amazing Loch Ness view! Barry and family are very welcoming and helpful. House has everything you need in the kitchen and a nice collection of movies for evenings. The location is perfect for touring Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle.

Fantastic cottage!
We had a lovely break here, the view was great and the fires made it very cosy. The kids loved having their own bedrooms upstairs. Barry was very helpful and communication was great.

Birthday Celebrations
Myself, my wife and my kids loved the cottage and didn’t want to leave. Beautiful setting overlooking the loch and a very cosy cottage. The only downside was the weather but we all still made the most of it. The owner Barry was there to greet us on arrival, a very nice chap indeed and we’ll definately plan a future visit :-) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect Place
What a wonderful cottage. Everything from the location, to the views, to the beautifully decorated home, made it the perfect place for that stretch of our vacation. An easy drive down from Inverness and then about 20 minutes drive down to Drumnadrochit and Urquhart Castle. The cottage is bigger than the pictures show, and more updated. Very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We were very happy and would stay again!

A little piece of heaven in the Highlands.
Stayed for two nights so our Aussie friends could watch for Nessie! Lovely, comfortable accommodations with an amazing view. Enjoyed eating outside on the terrace, listening to the birds and watching the weather over the loch. Inside was cosy and well equipped. We felt cared for by the host.

Das Haus strahl eine unglaubliche Gemütlichkeit aus. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Urlaub genossen. Bequeme Betten, schönes Badezimmer, eine super ausgestattete Küche, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage war wunderschön, mit einem gigantischen Ausblick. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Yes a beautiful view and a cozy cottage that has everything you need . Add an incredible host and you have a wonderful stay . We found Dore beach from a picture there in the bedroom and it’s an incredible view looking down Loch Ness.

Only stayed 2 nights but wish we had stayed longer. Looking out over the loch is very nice. Decent location for temporary home base. Comfortable accommodations and it’s really nice to have the host next door. Really great rental experience.

Well equipped quiet property with fab views
This property has a master bedroom with a super-king bed! Perfect for 6’4” spouse to be comfortable. Probably the best equipped property we’ve ever rented! Huge bathroom. The only reason it didn’t get 5 starts for location involves the steps up to the from door—no railing. We are in out late 70’s. Good wifi! The rough road up the hill was worth the drive! georgeous place for happy hour watching the shades of blue and green change as the sun set behind us. Lovely.

What a lovely property!
This is a gem of a property in Loch End. Quiet area with gorgeous views. The home is old and charming with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Barry, our host, is a delight! Very responsive when needed but never instrusive. I would happily stay here again and again.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3kids) had a fun stay at this super cute cottage -- my kids affectionately called it the Hobbit House. Lovely views of Loch Ness, especially from the window seats in the dining area. Location is fantastic - very easy 15min drive into Inverness. Washer and dryer both worked well.

We absolutely loved the cottage. We especially enjoyed sitting outside, having dinner and looking at Loch Ness. It was perfect for our family. Barry was very friendly and made sure if we needed anything to ask. We definitely would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay. Lots of space for everyone (four adults in our family). Beautiful to sit outside with our wine and cheese overlooking Loch Ness. There is even a castle across the lake. Washer and dryer work great, which I have found isn’t true of most rental properties. Terrific place….would definitely return

Up a steep hill, you are greeted with a spectacular view of Loch Ness. The house was warm and cozy and we were able to have a fire in the fireplace which a perfect way to end a rainy day of sightseeing.

Wow doesn’t even cover it!
This house is absolutely amazing! We were all in awe of the view of Loch Ness. The house itself is beyond expectations. The kitchen is stocked so well that when our private chef came to cook dinner he had everything he needed! The beds are comfortable, heating is good, cleanliness was on par and having 2 sets of washer/dryers was perfect!

What a gem! The view of Loch Ness is beautiful. Sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the quiet beauty of the loch. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom has a shower and tub. The kitchen is stocked with essentials you would not expect like tin foil and spices. There are two wood stoves which make the dining room and living room cozy. You can pick up extra wood at a grocery store on your way or leave a donation at the Croft. The only recommendations I have are, first having shower soap available would be a nice touch and tissues. We didn't bring either of these items with us as usually our rentals have something available. Overall this is an amazing property and I can't recommend it enough! Cheers!

This was a darling cottage to stay in! The location is fantastic. Everything was very clean and the place is well equipped. The views over Loch Ness are impressive - my son is convinced he spotted Nessie. Only downside is that we didn’t stay longer!

A cozy, quiet cottage that had a stunning view of Loch Ness.
Great place with nice kitchen and dining room. The sitting room was cozy with a functioning fire place which was perfect after a long hike along the Loch. Also had a great laundry room for our middle of vacation cleanup! Barry was awesome to work with. I recommend this VRBO highly!

Absolutely idyllic
My wife and I traveled from near Chicago to bring our 10 year old sons to see my homeland. Their biggest wish was to see Loch Ness. We couldn’t have picked a better location! Beautiful, comfortable property, with lovely decor and lots of additional features to make us really comfortable. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very kind. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay!

The whole family loved this beautifully modernized croft house. The location was superb in terms of close access to Inverness and city amenities and Loch Ness and the various hiking trails in the area. The bedrooms are wonderfully cozy with great views across the loch. There was tons of information to help us narrow down what we were planning to enjoy in the area and Barry was so very welcoming. Highly recommend!

This is such a cute dwelling with marvelous views of Loch Ness. Although we didn't see Nessie from our window, we did see osprey and enjoyed watching the boats go by and the castle across the lake. Very convenient location to many marvelous sites in the highland. Comfortable beds, quiet location, all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Would love to return!!

Very nice cabin with gorgeous views to Loch Ness. About 15 min to Inverness city center, and 15 to Drumnadrochit. Extremely clean and very well stocked for a long stay. Spacious bedroom kitchen, living and dining rooms downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms are very nice, but both have low sloped ceilings. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
