This is an old hotel right next to the train station. It was very convenient for me to stay the night before my trip to Glasgow. I booked a cozy single room for the night. The room is very tiny. The bed is very tiny. But that’s what I booked. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise. The Bathroom was surprisingly large given how tiny everything else was. The towels were nice water was a bit lukewarm. There was a heated towel rack which was nice. The shower is also very tiny.The bed was comfortable even though it was very tiny and I managed to sleep a few hours. I was really pleased that the window opened. It was perfect for a while so before continuing my trip of Scotland. I was able to leave my luggage while I wandered it round Inverness again. So really this is about convenience. Under the same circumstances I would stay again but perhaps book a room with a bigger bed.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and I always go back if I can. The location is fantastic, a 30 second walk to the train station and a few minutes from bars, restaurants, shops and the bus station. The hotel is always clean, the staff always friendly and the selection at the continental breakfast is second to none. The decor is a little outdated and worn out, nothing that a freshen up wouldn't fix, but regardless, it is a solid hotel and I will definitely continue to stay here during my visits to Inverness.

My second stay here and it was just as great as the last. We arrived 10:00 at night, last to check in after an almost 16 hour travel day. An elevator was a bonus since many older buildings don’t have one. Breakfast is also convenient and many places nearby to eat. Marks and Spencer is around corner, as well as Morrisons. There are two laundromats within walking distance, which is helpful. Best of all? The train station is right next door. Easy come, easy go. You really can’t go wrong with this hotel.

HORRIBLE ! Nous ne sommes même pas resté la deuxième nuit !! - manque cruel d'hygiène - une odeur horrible - lugubre et vétuste Sur l'annonce il est précisé "parking" mais il doit y avoir maximum 6 places, nous avons dû rajouter le parking ! J'ai préféré payé une nuit ailleurs et perdre de l'argent que de supporter une deuxième nuit là bas. À fuir !

A wild mix of things that were good and functioning and things that were quite bad. Thick, soft and very uneven carpet, the floor in our room was leaning. Air inside was not good, wouldn't recommend for allergic people. Bathroom was reallh nice though, and hearting worked well. Charming interior.Convenient location and staff were helpful enough.
