Fan went off every 20 seconds during the night, wasn’t aircon as that was switched off so not sure what it was but kept me awake all night. Door didn’t lock properly when vacating the room. Tried about ten times. Eventually got it to lock, but when I was inside the room had to put a chair against the door as I was unsure if it was locked from outside as I was a lone female traveller. Normally stay here for work but won’t be staying again.

All Good, very reasonable prices, I recommend customers leave luggage in car until checked in, as accommodation is on opposite side of car park, no complaints, very nice staff, and accommodation presentable, very good food and drink choices, IMPORTANT-- the room key (card) is also used to enter the accommodation block as well as your room.

This is not a hotel. It is a box with beds in it across a car park from a pub with no walkway. Woken when you are already in bed and told you are in the "wrong" room is not hospitality. The box of beds has a doorway indicating it is reception and outside there is a sign pointing at it saying it is the reception, but it is not the reception. I was only able to find the reception (in the pub), because there was a bloke standing outside smoking a cigarette who told me where to go. Getting an email inviting me to check out before I have even got into bed is not "helpful" and "efficient." It is telling me I am a piece of meat. I have asked you for a receipt for what I paid for accommodation but you will not give it to me for some reason. Where is my receipt, please?

Room was large and spacious, clean and of good quality. Parking was easy for a Sunday night stay with registration given at check in. Breakfast was at the restaurant next door which is part of Marstons. Had dinner and breakfast here. Food was okay, slightly disappointing compared to previous experiences of Marstons restaurants. It was the finishing touches on the food that provided the negative review

Clean room very confortable could do with a second chair. Staff very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Restaurant clean tidy then again staff very helpful.
