"This is an ideal hotel stop if you're traveling across Germany. In our case heading to Krakow from the UK. It was at the end of a ten hour drive. They stayed late to get us checked in, which was appreciated. Breakfast was good, and included in the price with parking. We'll stay again next time we travel this route."

"Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Frau Kaulfuß hat uns unglaublich herzlich empfangen und war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts jederzeit ansprechbar. So viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt man nur selten. Man merkt sofort, dass sie mit viel Herz dabei ist und wirklich alles daransetzt, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Egal, ob Fragen, Tipps oder kleine Anliegen – sie war immer hilfsbereit und hat sich für alles Zeit genommen.Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Sie ist bewusst einfach und minimalistisch eingerichtet, aber genau das macht sie für uns so angenehm. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Wanderurlaub braucht, ohne unnötigen Luxus. Dadurch bleibt auch der Preis fair und die Unterkunft ist für Wanderer wie uns sehr gut erschwinglich.Die Lage ist zudem ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Touren in der Sächsischen Schweiz. Viele Wanderziele sind schnell erreichbar, sodass wir unsere Tage optimal nutzen konnten.Für uns hat hier einfach alles gepasst – von der Unterkunft über die Sauberkeit bis hin zur außergewöhnlichen Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen und können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank, Frau Kaulfuß, für die schöne Zeit – wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen!"

"The hotel is centrally located and was quite lively with a great restaurant right on the Elbe. The room was clean and VERY spacious with lovely river views. Jessica at Reception was wonderful. A great place to stay in Bad Schandau!!!"

"A bit hard to find the reception, but friendly front desk, free parking, transit passes & sauna were great. No air conditioning, front desk & sauna hours are limited, no laundry. The parking requires some steps and/or a long walk, but you can drop baggage off at the front of the building."

"We had a fantastic stay here, it was just the relaxation we needed as we were walking the Malerweg. The spa areas are lovely and relaxing and the views from the sauna and relaxation areas are superb. We had the four course meal for dinner and the food was delicious. Great breakfast and a comfy bed. Definitely treat yourself to a night here. "
