“My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such! The cottage itself is lovely, very off road location and I was worried about my tyres on the way there but all was fine. The farmers next door are lovely and their farm dogs were friendly and curious. Our poodle……

“Our stay at the Scarborough penthouse recently was brilliant. We went for my birthday and it couldn’t have been more special, easy to find and parking just outside. On arrival we took the lift and it opens up straight into the apartment giving it a very classy feel. The lovely open plan living room and kitchen was very clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were large and beautifully set out. The best bit for us was the balcony with seating area and sea view. Overall all had a fantastic stay.……

“Fabulous apartment. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean.”

“Lovely apartment, with everything you need and more. I'd booked a different apartment but there was a maintenance issue, so was offered Seascape as an alternative along with an additional night at no extra cost to me. Had the most lovely holiday, just me and my son. Thank you”

“Lovely stay in a cute little cottage. Recommended. ”

“This is my second stay at The Bay, the first being a house accommodation so I was apprehensive about an apartment set up, it was revealed to be very spacious and lovely everything being on one level with my 5 year old grandson in tow. The apartment is furnished and fitted with high standard quality items and the owners should be very proud with the newly refurbished Paws And Relax, it’s beautiful ! It’s short of nothing, and even kitchen appliances were easy to navigate with lots of……

“A great location. We stayed in a glamping pod and had a lovely time. Clean and all you need for a few days. Local shop 5 mins drive away to get anything you need”

“Really impressed with Bailey’s Beach house. On arrival everything was pristine including all the kitchen appliances, soft furnishings and cleanliness. It is a credit to the owners and cleaning staff. The position on The Bay is good, near to facilities and no problem parking at the rear of the property. Can’t wait to return in the near future.”

“Lovely house in a very quiet street in hunmanby . The house was spotless and warm when we arrived , it is very well equipped and everything there you need . Would definitely recommend and will book to go again .”

“Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park.”

“The flat was in general very clean . However the sofa and cushions were a bit smelly , they could have done with a deep clean. There was everything we needed and it was central to everything. The host was lovely and very helpful.”

“We always love The Bay at Filey and have stayed previously in other excellent accommodation, this is by far our favourite due to its location on Blue Anchor Road, which has a sleepy exclusive feel to it. Sandy Feet Retreat is superb!! Clean, cosy and comfortable we had the most relaxing 4 days. Everything you could possibly need is available, all in great working order and clean. We would definitely return, and recommend this property to others. The Bay is a fantastic base for what we wanted a……
