Eine blitzblanke sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung in perfekter Ortseingangslage mit Blick auf die schöne Kirche. Die Gastgeberin Renate ist ein Sonnenschein, sehr freundlich und sie hat uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben! Die Wohnung und das Dorf mit Dorfladen sind ein Traum und touristisch nicht überlaufen- man kann wunderbar abschalten in der Ruhe und der tollen Natur.

Super netter Empfang & Kontakt, alles sauber und gut ausgestattet - uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Einzig die Anfahrt ist stellenweise etwas abenteuerlich (einspurige Straße am/im Fels), aber machbar.

Schöner Aufenthalt im verträumten Isenthal

Danke an Renate und Alois, es war eine sehr schöne Woche bei euch. Schöne FeWo mit allen was man braucht und viele Infos, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt in Isenthal

Es war unser erstes Mal in Isenthal und wir sind von den Menschen und der Gegend super begeistert. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der schöne Ausblick auf die gegenüberliegenden Wiesen und Bergspitzen sowie die Ruhe des Tales haben zu unserer kurzen Auszeit ihr übriges getan. Großes Lob und Dank an unsere Gastgeber. Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach traumhaft. Das Isental und auch der Ort strahlen eine solche Ruhe und Idylle aus - das ist purer Genuss. Die Vermieter sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und machen alles möglich, was geht. In der Wohnung ist alles da, was man braucht. Wohnung und Vermieter sind sehr babyfreundlich. In dem kleinen Dorfladen, der fußläufig erreichbar ist, gibt es alles Notwendige für den täglichen Bedarf und die Fahrt zum Discounter kann man sich sparen. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und werden, wenn es klappt, gerne wiederkommen.

Wonderful place, beautiful apartment

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Isenthal. Renate was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything went well for us. The area is so beautiful that you don't have to go far. There are hikes everywhere and always a picturesque view. Not many people from America have visited and there is some cultural shock and language problems to overcome but, it is well worth the effort. The little store is well stocked but not open on Sunday or some days after 11:30AM so you should arrive stocked with supplies you will need until it does open. You won't want to go back down to town after your first drive up. We arrived when the fields were being harvested for hay. It is amazing to watch hills that slope 45 degrees being harvested and bailed. Lucerne was an easy drive and is a beautiful city to visit for a day. It was then so nice to retreat from all the tourist to the peace of the countryside in Isenthal. I highly recommend this property. And Renate was a great hostess.

Storybook perfect!

My husband & I arrived after dark. Renate was nice enough to wait up for us. She was very gracious and showed us everything in the apartment. The apartment was warm, cozy, very clean, & had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. So we got to wake up to the most amazingly beautiful & most majestic place we had ever visited. The morning was cold with clear blue skies against white capped mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking! We just sat there drinking our morning coffee staring out the window at the mountains and all the beautiful homes as well as a beautiful Church right across the street. We couldn't wait to get out and explore, so everyday we hiked around the village as far as we could walk. We don't ski but we saw a ski lift and a lot of skiers going up and coming down the mountain. There is a bank with an ATM for cash, there is also a cute little store with everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, & dinner. There are a couple restaurants in the village and we had dinner out one night. On the last day we drove down to Lucerne and all the other little villages along the way sightseeing and stopping at a restaurant for dessert & coffee. It was a vacation of a lifetime! I didn't really know what I was booking when I booked this gem, I just liked the Swiss look of the house and the fact that you are in a valley surrounded by mountains. We are from Tennessee in the USA and we have beautiful mountains here as well. But this was different. I'm so glad that I chose Isenthal, Switzerland. I feel like it is a hidden little village in a mountain that everyone needs to experience. Renate and her children are precious and she did her best to understand two Americans with a southern accent. Wunderschön gelegen

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen. Der Blick von der großen Terrasse ist traumhaft. Viele Wandertouren starten direkt von Isenthal. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet. Extra Zimmer für bspw. die Kinder. Zum Kochen und Backen war alles da. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
