「Heather is a fabulous, responsive host and the location could not have been better for our stay during the Marji Gesick. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a cute lakefront park. While the listing states there are 2 bedrooms, access to the second bedroom and the bathroom requires passing through the first bedroom, so it is not a truly private space, which is something to consider depending on who you are travelling with.」

「This older house made us feel at home. The view over the lake is amazing. We got a perfect view of a double rainbow from the hot tub. The fenced yard allowed us to bring our dogs making the trip that much easier. 「Greg & Kate’s home in MQT is wonderful. The home was clean and we were immediately greeted with a welcome basket and a note on their chalkboard. This is our 6th summer up to MQT, and their home is a favorite spot thus far. The location is great to walk to downtown- and a quick drive to Presque Isle. But the view of Lake Superior is something spectacular. The sunrise each morning was beautiful. If we lived here I’d park myself in the kitchen 24/7 for the view. 「This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK.」

This is the best location in town and if it rains you can cozy up to the fireplace and still watch the Ore Dock and lake through the large windows. 「Great family accomodations for our 7 overnight family members and 2 to 3 daytime guests. The lakeside cabin is beautifully set with a great view of lake. Cabin very well supplied. We also enjoyed row boating ( there was canoe also) and fishing out on the lake and campfire around the nice firepit area outside. Owner were very accomodating and promptly responded to any questions we had.」

「We had a pretty good stay. The house is a great size and has all the accommodations we needed. The weather was exceptional warm for the time of year, we were up for deer rifle season, which caused a crazy amount of flies to be around but other than that everything was good.」
