Absolutely fantastic hospitality, a warm welcome, delicious food and very comfy rooms. Also enjoyed a paddle on the lovely beach in front of the hotel. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, we would not hesitate to book again.

Great Place to Stay on Islay.

Was an excellent stay, very charming hotel with excellent food and a great little Pub. Gary, Susan and team were such great hosts and everyone staying there was made to feel like friends. Port Charlotte hotel was a wonderful experience for my wife and I.

Great 2 Night Stay

Great 2 night stay at this charming property. Friendly staff and the room was nice, though finishes were slightly dated (to be expected). Great views, excellent food and neat bar/lounge. I’d definitely stay here again!

You will not regret staying here.

Really nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view of the bay and nice to hear the waves crashing on the shore. Rooms in good condition, very clean everywhere, nice fresh bathrooms.

Lovely hotel near two wonderful distilleries and the Museum of Islay Life. Most people could walk to Bruichladdich but Kilchoman is too far and you'll need a taxi.

Pour 600$ Canadien la nuit je m’attends à mieux, petit déjeuner très très ordinaire le dernier des 3 petits déjeuner il n’y avait plus de croissants. Comfortable hotel, perfect for soaking up the spirit of Islay. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It's the ideal place to experience the unique atmosphere and character of Islay. The restaurant was a true highlight. The chef is a master—the food was exceptional and a huge step above typical British fare. We especially recommend the smoked kipper for breakfast; it was absolutely delicious. Live music by a band at the bar on every Wednesday and Sunday.
