Susan is so nice to work with, she’s honest and caring. The condo was nice and clean, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and walkable to everything you need. The private pier and swimming pool nice. Laundry is available- pay with an app. Would recommend

Nice room with beautiful view!
This was a nice place for my wife and I to spend a week. The owner was excellent to work with and communication was great! It was a nice size for two people to stay at. The beach was a short walk away and was very nice as well. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance. Overall a nice place to visit! We would definitely stay here again!!

As advertised
The unit was completely out dated. I expected this as it was advertised accordingly and the price was low. Everything that was important was very, very good! Great location in the complex. Fantastic water pressure. Cable tv that worked and was easy to use and everything was very clean. I would not hesitate to go back to this specific unit.

Thank you. Our location really is the deal :) And as advertised, "no granite or stainless in our salty seafront spot. All sheetrock and cabinets replaced 2010; all flooring replaced 2020, New sofa, new bottom mount, large, refrigerator, and smooth ceramic top stove in 2023. It is Traditional Lowcountry Beach theme, Not Mid-Century, Modern, Industrial and/or Minimalist." Why priced so well? We are the owners, grew up here, live close by, and have been doing this for 20+ years now, so we are competitive at pricing.

Charming condo, great location
The condo was clean and charming with a cute beach theme. Safe location. Excellent communication from the owner. The beach, pool, ocean, restaurants, and shops are only a few minutes away. It was a quick and easy drive to downtown Charleston from the condo. We will definitely stay there again the next time we make our way to SC.

Charming apt With Ocean View
This 1 bedroom apt has a Sitting Room sofa that converts to Queen bed. 2 bunk beds tucked into hallway are only suitable for small children. Kitchen was well equipped--varied cookware & colorful trays and dinner plates/bowls. Though 3 of our days were either cold & wet, of cool & overcast, we still walked the beach. On last day we enjoyed breakfast in brilliant sunshine on balcony w/ ocean view. Susan the owner could not have been more readily available & helpful. Note: Do not enter lockbox code before 4pm check-in time, or it will not open. Location was perfect for our dining out, browsing shops in Mount Pleasant, and picnicking in flower-filled Summerville--our "home town."

Couldn't have asked for a better 1 year anniversary.
We don't get to travel much and decided on a long weekend away for our 1 year wedding anniversary. This such a cute little place. Just enough space for 2 people. Super clean and tidy. The view off the porch was amazing. It was great waking up to see the ocean. There is a pool on property and easy access to the beach. You are within walking distance to places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Coconut Joes and Smugglers. Communication with the host was amazing. And the people in the area were so friendly. We highly recommend staying here. You will love it. While you are staying go into town to the aquarium and feed the stingrays as an added treat!

Perfect Location
I loved my stay here so much! It was so convenient to walk anywhere I wanted to go and I loved walking out on the pier to see the beautiful sunrise. The owner was extra responsive and very helpful. The condo was very cozy and had everything I needed.

Great location to walk to the private pier and beach. Nice to see and hear the waves from the balcony. Communication with host was great. Property could use some improvements. I honestly could not give this property 5 stars. The host offered to bring a replacement chair for the living room chair which had a ripped seat. The balcony needed attention as the carpet was old and dirty. The balcony chairs were rusted and the legs taped. The beach chairs rusty. The toilet lid did not fit the toilet. The sliding door was a bit hard to open going out onto the balcony. This property has great potential but needs some attention as is.

Great stay, nice and quiet.
Loved the location of the unit. No one below you because of the condo office. Being on the second floor still provided a great view of the ocean and there was plenty of parking. Very convenient to all the local sites as well. Lots of parks, downtown Charleston and Patriots Point all within 20 minutes. Check out Luke n Ollie’s pizza and The Dinghy both within a 5 minute walk of the room.

Beautiful spot close to beach
My child knew the small bed was for him and loved the idea of sleeping there. The couch pulls out into a bed but it’s got a very thin mattress and there were no sheets, we used an extra blanket to cover it. The water got hot which is always a plus! Close to lots of good restaurants with access to a secluded and very quiet pool.

Nice condo, easy access to beach and pool. 1 Bedroom and sofa bed. More AC needed for 90+ degrees.
We stayed for just less than a week in this condo and enjoyed IOP and the beach every day. The condo is like the rest in the 3-building complex, with 1 bedroom in the back, kind of dark, and a decent sofa bed out in the main room. The 2nd floor was a great balance between view and stair climbing - we recommend it! The AC in the condo struggled to drop the inside temp any lower than 10 degrees below the outside. So, when the outside soared to 95, the condo temp rose to 85, despite the AC being set to 70 the entire time. Maybe a coolant recharge? Kitchen is good, dish washer fine, fridge clean, and balcony nice. Overall, we give this a 4-star rating, and would have been higher if the AC was more capable of handling those super-hot days. Owner communication was fine, check-in easy, price was good for location. Had a great time there in IOP!

Location is fantastic, some improvements are possible
Obviously a great spot with easy beach access and easy walking distance of pretty much everything IOP has to offer. Small complaint, the AC could not keep up with the heat of the day, during the day the condo would get up to 80F, and overnight only cool to 73F. We're "outdoorsy" people, so it was tolerable. I have no idea how those heat pump motors don't burn out running 24/7. And as previously mentioned the bedroom never gets dark, it has the lighting of sunrise all night long. I would definitely stay here again during a different time of year and maybe bring a blackout curtain for the bedroom window. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening and walking to Coconut Joe's for dinner every night.

Location, location, location!
We were on IOP for a wedding, but wanted more economic accommodations and some privacy. This condo development was perfect for our needs: 1) walking distance to dining; 2) Pool and beach access; 3) Quiet at night. “Cozy” rather than spacious, but comfortable, and we’ll-equipped.

Nice property and location
The property was well maintained and condo well stocked for some time at the beach. My wife, and I with our 17 year old daughter spent four nights at the condo. The view of the surf and pool was nice and I really enjoyed walking out on the Sea Cabins private pier. I wish I had planned to fish and did enjoy watching others catching whiting and cobia. The beach was close and made for great long walks South past many large oceanfront homes. I only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy.

Great location
Sea Cabins are in a great location on IOP with private pier and beach access. The beach is gorgeous! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and it’s only a short drive to Mt. Pleasant for more shops, restaurants, and fun activities. Only 30 mins to Charleston. This unit was as described, I just felt it could maybe use a deep cleaning and minor repairs. We cleaned the fan in the bathroom, as it was coated with a thick layer of dust and did not work very efficiently. The dishes and glassware in the cupboard needed to be washed, as many were coated with food residue. I just ran the dishwasher with all the dishes and silverware I could fit in it the first day we arrived. Coffee pot was a bit touchy, the button did not always respond to turn it on. Doorknob on the door leading to the bathroom from the bedroom is broken and pulls off. Minor things that just need some attention….. Overall the condo met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The host was quick to respond when a breaker tripped and we lost power in the kitchen. She followed up to make sure we were able to resolve it.

I will be personally going to inspect this week, and meet with cleaning supervisor, plus repair the door handle. The guest after you told us the coffee maker was wonky, and that day we brought out a new Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Trio Coffee Maker that makes drip pots, drip singles, and/or K-cups, along with the french press there as well.

Wonderful property & location
My parents and I stayed at this property for Thanksgiving 2022 and we were super impressed with the property & location. We could walk everywhere we needed to go! Location was perfect. Parked my car and could walk to everything, restaurants, shops, groceries and food! This was especially helpful on busy beach days, didn’t have to worry about any traffic! Had a wonderful stay at the Sea Cabins. Perfect location. The condo has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The unit was very clean, the bed comfy! The pool area was nice. Having private access to beach and pier was very convenient. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Our stay was cut short by a day thanks to Hurricane Ian. The owner contacted us to assure we were ok and offered a refund for our last night. Fell in love with the area and would definitely stay in this unit again!!

IOP is beautiful and this property is in a fantastic location! It’s steps to the beach & restaurants
Everything was fantastic! My only issue was the code to the pool, beach, ect is 5017 which is different from your email. The email you sent referenced dates from 2020, and they are not the same anymore. Another person staying there gave us the code.

Perfect Location! Cozy Condo!
My husband and I were first time visitors to Isle of Palms. I am so happy we decided to stay at this condo. The Sea Cabins are the perfect location and the condo was cozy! Your vehicle is visible from the balcony in the parking lot. The pool is clean and was never crowded. It's an easy walk to the beach and beach chairs and a cooler are provided by the host. The pier entrance is beside the beach entrance, and is a nice to walk on. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning for coffee and in the evening for relaxation. The sun hit the balcony in the late morning, so it was very comfortable with a nice breeze. The view is lovely. The bed was comfy and plenty of towels and pillows were available. The kitchen had everything needed as far as coffee pot, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, etc. The host provided essentials such as dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, shampoo, etc. We were also provided with a list of suggested eateries and things to do. Many places are within walking distance. We enjoyed our time there.

Mother/Daughter Weekend
This sweet, quaint condo worked great for a few days away with my daughters. Susan was very thorough with instructions, and provided awesome communication. The location of the condo is well situated near restaurants and the beach. The only issue/complaint was not being able to have a golf cart on the property. Both IOP and Sullivan’s island are very golf cart friendly. We opted to rent a golf cart rather than a car, only to find out that golf carts weren’t allowed. There were no signs posted stating no golf carts (there are many signs on the property regarding curfew, no pets, etc) and no mention in the vrbo description. I’m not sure the reason why golf carts are not allowed on the property, standard cars are, many speeding through the parking lot that holds the pool and beach access, and there was ample parking for carts, just a very confusing, not posted, property rule that would keep us from booking this property in the future.

I agree that it makes no sense that golf carts are allowed. It is sad for me that the policy caused a 3 star review when all else is stated as very positive. This is the first time in 15 years owning/renting that a guest has even asked about it. I will add this to our full description Today.
