Perfect for Families

Fantastic location, quiet. My littles first time to our beloved IOP. We talked through some of our struggles to conceive while laying on these beaches. So, to bring our 2 kids this year was really special. Perfect for our family vacation, and Beth was a great communicator. Thank you!

Great Place!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and well furnished. The grounds did not have BBQ's as promised. We did a lot of cooking for the family and the no large pans were available. We did not have a need to communicate with the property mnager. Fantastic location!

We had an amazing time at an amazing beach condo! It was so close to the ocean, was a clean and accommodating condo that was very family friendly. I will be looking to stay here again!

Awesome stay!

My family and a couple of our friends escaped the aftermath of hurricane Helene for the South Carolina coast and this place was the perfect spot for us all to decompress. The condo is beautiful, well equipped, and very comfortable. The beds were awesome. Communication with the owner was excellent. We hope to return soon.

Birthday trip

The condo is clean, beds comfortable and the location is great. Easy beach access. We had two nights the A/C didn’t work (tech thought he fixed it after the first day) which made sleeping difficult but management was quick to respond and they accommodated us. All in all a great ladies birthday trip.

Great vacation!

This was a great location and very clean. It was a wonderful experience for our family. We highly recommend requesting the chairs and umbrellas so the beach is set up for you to enjoy right away. Close to Charleston and shopping. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful as advertised!

This property was perfect for me and my two teens and could have accommodated more people comfortably! It was clean and updated as advertised and management was incredibly quick to respond to questions. The view was beautiful and it was great to have access to the pool when we needed a beach break. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach property / Outer Banks

This amazing condo was right on the beach AND had a swimming pool! With 3bd/3bath it was large enough for my family! Everything was extremely clean and the towels and linens were perfect and comfortable! The lovely bathrooms had been updated and the photos just needs to be updated on VRBO as we were expecting a tub in the master, the property manager was very responsive. It was a perfect way to visit Charleston and stay just outside the city. I would absolutely rent this property the next time we visit

April Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here for a week in April. We had perfect weather and our favorite part was leaving the screen doors open and hearing the beach all week. The patio was great. The walk to the beach was easy and accessible with multiple boardwalks to choose from. Chairs and umbrellas are not supplied, but that wasn’t an issue for us and you can use a rental company. The unit itself had been updated so it was a bit different than the photos suggested but we were told that would be updated soon (and the updates t the kitchen and master bath were very nice). The only issues we had were a strong mildew smell in the unit and the pillows are pretty flat. The TV also has poor quality, the color is blue. The room layout was great for us with comfortable beds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and the Wild Dunes complex is a great place to stay with a lot to do.

Nice, but could use an upgrade

This was a nice area, close to the beach, had elevator, and you could always find a parking space. The pool was very nice, but as you can imagine, the hot weather makes it more like a hot tub. We stuck to the ocean which had the perfect temp.. That said, the unit definitely needs an upgrade. Washer/dryer, pot's/pans, and appliances. This was a new spot for the family, we usually go to Sanibel Island FL and stay in the same unit every year, that was until the hurricane destroyed the complex. We would pay half of what we paid for this unit, and it was always freshly renovated. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but were a little disappointed.

4th of July Family Trip

We love IOP and Wild Dunes! The location of the unit was great and the unit was spacious and comfortable. There were a few things that need improvement: Dryer - awful never drys. Need continuous cycles like 4 cycles for each load and I did NOT overload - horrible buzzer which will wake the house. Microwave has no power had to heat things for extended time. Bath towels - super old worn and dingy - to include hand towels and black makeup towels. We were advised that there were No beach chairs, beach towels - but REALLY? It’s a beach condo and we are from out of town. TV- horrible picture and color. Split line across the middle. Rules regarding resetting TV and $150 charge seemed excessively punitive. WiFi was lousy. Both my son and husband had difficulty working from the unit. I had trouble just with my cell phone and the WiFi not being strong enough. It was better outside so I dont think it’s a “barrier island” thing.No cleaning products - how are we supposed to maintain the unit if there is not even any windex? Too many rules - clean this, leave that, wash this, strip that. We paid a lot I should not be told to strip beds or leave towels washing especially since I had to provide my own laundry detergent. Balcony- not clean or blown off. Spider webs old hair sand spill marks. I had emailed prior to arrival to inform I was allergic to feathers. I never received a response and assumed it was because it was a nonissue only to find the house is full of down pillows.

This is a lovely, clean, spacious and convenient place to stay in IOP! It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The beach is a short walk down a boardwalk and it’s beautiful! The kids enjoyed the pool right outside the building. The unit was well-equipped and comfortable. We would definitely return!

Really safe and great location. Beach is close. Nice pool. just know that if you are allergic to feather pillows, be sure and bring your own pillows. Other than that a really great experience for our family.
