About this property

Stylish beachfront condo walking distance to beach, pool, pier and restaurants!

  • A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room (replaced July of 2025), and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
    Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
    There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
    No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
    There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.

    Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

    We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

Excellent condo just steps from the beach and the pool. Great kitchen, though we hardly used it. One detail we loved was the number of hooks conveniently placed throughout the unit and on the balcony for wet towels and bathing suits. Nothing fancy, but well worth the price.

Property was just as described. We loved the convenience of the beach and pool. The only issue I had was the bed. As other guests have shared, it just wasn’t comfortable for me. I ended up sleeping on the pull out futon each night because my back was hurting so bad. However, the bed wasn’t an issue for my wife. I guess I’m just getting old, lol.

The host was very responsive to a minor issue we had (getting parking passes).The condo is clean and well taken care of. The bed is firm and has a plastic cover under the bedsheet which made for a crinkly sound. No trouble sleeping but a slightly softer and quieter bed would be a bonus.Even though on 1st floor, still had a view of the ocean (not the beach) and pier. Easy and short walk to beach. Wi-fi, TV and all amenities worked well. Condo is next to the stairs to the parking lot so people can see the porch and living area easily. Not a big deal at all.

We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and an easy check in/out process with a great location right by the ocean, near lots of restaurants and access to a private pier! The bed and couch were not the comfiest but overall the condo was great for my husband, myself and our toddler!

Overall pretty good. Had a great relaxing tripOn the beach and the condo was a short walk. Everything was clean and nice. The parking lot floods when it rains because nobody turns on the pumps. This is more of a building management issue than the host. You just have to get creative when trying to go to dinner in your nice shoes in 6” of standing water. The beach is beautiful and we saw some dolphins. Best experience we’ve had on Vrbo. Thanks again

Cozy Cabin on IOP

This unit at Sea Cabins is cozy. The proximity to the beautiful IOP sand can’t be beat. It was perfect for our short end of summer escape. You can hear the Windjammer shows from inside, but they stopped right on time and made me miss days gone by when I was the one on the front row.

Great spot!

We were not in our unit very much, but it was quite comfortable. So nice to get up in the morning with our own fresh cup of coffee and watch the sunrise!

Nice place and location

This is a nice up to date, clean, and well supplied (cookware etc) one bedroom unit in an ideal location with easy parking. Also, communication was very good. If I had to critique anything, I would say a more comfortable couch for TV viewing in the evening would be a plus. But, I our stay was wonderful.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our trip. There were a few issues with lack of kitchen utensils and noise, but overall the visit was great. The issue with noise is no ones fault. It is just the location of the condo being next to the steps. Most of all we loved the condo complex location. Being able to walk to restaurants and shops was a plus. We look forward to our next visit.

Close to beach. Aging Property

We had a really great time at this location and enjoyed being close to the beach. I should note that this access point to the beach is right next to the public beach access area so Saturdays and Sundays are incredibly crowded and prompted us to walk down the beach about a half mile to get away from it all. Some people may enjoy the crowds but my family does not. The property itself seems to be a little older than I interpreted from the listing pictures but it's still provided a roof, beds, a kitchen, and all of the necessities to enjoy your stay at the at the beach. The proximity of this location to restaurants, ice cream shops, and such is perfect and just a few minutes walk to it all. Management was quick to resolve any issues we had and I have nothing but good things to say about them, should you ever require their services. All In all, this was a good place to stay to experience Isle of Palms and the beaches and the activities it has to offer.

Good location & close to beach

Just as advertised, small little condo right on the beach. Condo had everything needed for our short stay. I don’t think I would’ve wanted to stay there for longer than that though. The comfort of bed and seating areas are not ideal and obviously a tight squeeze for more than two people, but thankfully we weren’t inside often. It’s definitely an older building but for the price and proximity to beach it works. Impressed with responsiveness and ease of checking in/out too!
