Dear John Thank you so much for your review. We are very sorry to hear that your stay wasnt as comfortable as you wished. Our petite rooms are sold as small bedrooms hence the name (Petite) The bedroom is located at the rear of the building but has everything that is required for a good nights sleep. If you were concerned about the noise from the open window there are fans in each of our bedrooms to provide more air circulation. We are located in a very quiet area of the island. I am very pleased to hear that you find the staff and breakfast to be very good. We hope to see you returning in the future and hopefully our other room types shall be to your satisfaction.

Dear Hamish Thank you very much for your recent review. We are most disappointed to be reading your comments about your recent stay. I would absolutely disagree with your comment about being a run down B&B our pictures on our website truly reflect the quality of fabrics and furnishings you shall expect during your stay and tastefully decorated rooms are obviously not to your liking. If you objected to the £4 for a latte we do have our wonderful regular coffee available in our breakfast rate. We are struggling to fill the posts that we have advertised because of Covid and Brexit as are many other hospitality businesses so we have had to come up with alternatives and solutions to the issues that we have. It is not always wise to overhear conversations as the incorrect interpritation may be picked up from the conversation. Thank you for your custom and we wish you well on your future travels

Dear Joseph Thank you so much for your recent review of Toravaig House. I am delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the hotel though a little surprised that you didnt find enough to do locally. Sleat is known as the garden of Skye and has lots of different things to see and do. The brand new Torabhaig distillery literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Armadale castle and gardens with the museum of the Island there along with beautiful woodland walks, the lovely little boutique shops in the area, the fabulous walk to the point of Sleat or to Dalavil or even the walk to Letir Fura the old foresters village with stunning views of the coastline. There is also what we call the loop road to Tarskavaig the most scenic road on the island and the place to go if you want to see a fabulous sunset. This is all within 20 minutes of the Hotel. We shall look forward to you returning and helping you explore the area and the beautiful area of Sleat.

Thank you so much for your feedback about your recent stay with us. The bedroom that you reserved was our last room and we do advertise this as a petite double bedroom. Our set menu is available each evening and if any guest does not feel like the full menu we are more than happy to price this according to what they wish to select for dinner. Our menu items are mainly all locally sourced from the many small producers on the island and if guests wish to try elsewhere they are more than welcome at our other two hotels on the island and can bill anything to their bedroom accounts. I am very pleased that you found the staff at Toravaig very friendly. Thank you so much for your feedback and we wish you well on your future travels
