"My wife and I were very happy staying here. As advertised, clean, modern, comfortable, view of river etc. A pleasant 10-15 minute walk into town. In a very quiet road, easy to park next to the property in a sort of lay-by, (felt the car was safe there). Hosts were very friendly & welcoming and despite language barrier we managed well with the help of translation apps! No problems. Good restaurant options in the town in walking distance. "The house was even nicer than the pictures. You can walk across the fields and lane to town, but you really are better driving. There is a big garden with plenty of space for the children. "Our family had a lovely time at De La Truffiere. It is in a quiet location in the countryside but fairly close to Bergerac for shopping and other conveniences. The house is well equipped and has plenty of space to allow family members to do their own thing. It was too early to use the pool but we enjoyed playing ping pong, going on walks in the country and dining on the patio. We would definitely stay there again."
