It was a good hotel, and a good stay, but needs to improve a few things. Breakfast was wonderful and the best part of the stay, shower great, bed very good. Just missed a little bit of a local touch of a baklava at brrakfast. Check in felt like a series of upselling efforts for a better room, restaurant, spa, too much. The room has a few annoying flaws that should be fixed such as controlling the light is really difficult. The DND light on the door didn’t work, could not switch off / lower the sound on the TV and the phone does not have a button for front desk so getting in touch with them was challenging. Basics. Also, there was no wine opener in the bar so why sell bottles with a cork, maybe switch to a screw top - and they definitely could cut back on plastic in the room. Last airconditioning was either super strong cold or hot so we had to tweak it back-and-forth.
Having said all of that the hotel has a beautiful design, friendly staff, well located and is clean and the deluxe room was a good size. For what they charge I would just expect a little better.
