Nice big room in a cabin. Beautiful, quiet setting. Just 5 minutes from Yellowstone South gate and about 1 hour from Jenny Lake area of Teton NP. Small convenience/general store and buffet grocery store is in Colter Bay area about 30 minutes away.

Cabin in the woods was very rustic, but nice. We thought we would miss tv, but definitely did not, played card games. The breakfast at the lodge was GREAT, and reasonably priced. Overall great and made it possible to get a good long day thru Yellowstone.

Scenic comfortable and relaxing place on the Snake River, conveniently located about two miles from the South entrance to Yellowstone with manageable drives to the Grand Tetons & Jackson Hole.
Stayed for a week and covered the majority of the Parks. Saw many Bison, Grizzly Bears, Pronghorn, Elk, Mule Deer, Fox, Coyote, Great Gray Owl, Large Gopher Snake, Chipmunks & a variety of birds.
Be sure to check out Hayden and Lamar Valleys in Yellowstone.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The room was nice and clean, however, it was not serviced our entire 6 days, except for the beds were made, and trash emptied one time--when we asked the desk for the room to be serviced on our 4th day. We had asked for new towels, and had to call the desk when we returned, as the old ones were still in the floor of the bathroom.

Location! Location! Location! Great place to stay for proximity to parks. Dining room was good. Good dining room service, good food. Front desk staff were great. Awesome cookies. Convenience store staff was super friendly and helpful. Great gift shop staff. HOWEVER...Housekeeping could have been much better. Floors in cabin needed vacuuming upon arrival, one bed had been slept in (evidence of hair on pillows and sheets and body wrinkles on sheet). We were booked for 7 days. Our room was not tended too other than trash pick up a couple times during the week and we finally had to request fresh towels and used towel pick up after 5 days of no service (other than trash removal). Suggest housekeeping manager call guests on day 2 or 3 to monitor guest satisfaction.

Upon arrival at 2:45 we weren’t greeted but got a rude introduction by Ella. She informed us we were early and we needed to wait. A nice young man came up to us 30 minutes later and was so friendly getting us checked in. The whole time Ella was screaming at someone on the phone. It was so unprofessional. The facility was beautiful and we did enjoy our stay after the aggressive behavior while checking in.
