Our stay was incredibly disappointing. At this price point, there are certain expectations (and several other options) and this rental totally missed the mark. The location / views were awesome but otherwise the following were total misses: we tried to grill out one night only to find the grill was totally disgusting, the propane tank was rusted and unusable and the two backup tanks in the garage were empty. The house was not remotely supplied, with no laundry detergent, no cleaning spray, no shampoo and the soap bars resembled something you would find in a cheap motel. Every time we tried to do a load of laundry, a fuse would blow and we had to restart the process. The beds (including the master / king) had two, tiny pillows with no duvet cover on any of the beds. Additionally, the extra pillows in the closet were dirty with no extra pillow cases. We come to Amelia every year for Thanksgiving, have done several rentals at this price point, and this was by far the worst.
