「Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness and Guest Experience We recently stayed at Ranch Motel in San Antonio, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The retro concept is cute, but the condition of the property tells a different story. Our room felt so dirty that we weren’t comfortable walking barefoot. The shower floor was peeling, the walls were poorly maintained, and there was visible rust and deterioration throughout the property. There’s a difference between vintage charm and...

「The bar was great with some unusual appetizers like Quail Poppers and Gunter oysters, both terrific. Unfortunately, the room shower glass doors would not stay closed during a shower. We reported this to room service and the individual that came said it needed new “rollers” and would come back to fix it. He never returned snd we had to wet towels and place behind the door so we could shower without flooding the bathroom. This should not have happened if The Gunter had better maintenance.」

「Our stay at The Monarch San Antonio during the Day of the Dead parade weekend was disappointing, especially for the price. Check-in was painfully slow, with only one employee working despite the busy weekend. Dining was concerning because there was no allergen menu. With a serious tree nut allergy, simply being told food contains no nuts isn’t reassuring. Proper allergy precautions matter. At the bar, we waited 45 minutes while being repeatedly overlooked as guests arriving after us were...
