Hillsdale Cottage-Great Location

GREAT LOCATION! Our house sits in the valley on 40 acres surrounded by mountain views. 9 mi to downtown Jasper, 1/2 mi to Low Gap Cafe, 2 mi to Horshoe Canyon Ranch and Steel Creek, 5 mi to Kyle's Landing, 4 mi to Ponca & Boxley Valley.

3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Sleeps 8-9 and is great for families. The large living room boast 14 windows overlooking the valley & mountains. Washer/Dryer, WIFI, Roku, front porch & swing, fully equipped kitchen, games, & coffee bar. Outdoor firepit & picnic table.

*Please note that the home is located in Low Gap near Ponca and Horshoe Canyon Ranch.

The property is simply beautiful inside & out! The only thing we noticed that wasn’t perfect was the floor not being completely clean finding some dead bugs & dirt. Rooms & bathrooms were fabulous! Kitchen worked well & enjoyed a sweet fire & explored all around the property. For future guests you might warn them about the rough road leading up to the place & the fact that they need to save/print the info before arriving because there will be no service at the cottage to access the emails containing that info!!! We loved the place & would return again!

My high school classmate, and college roommate, visited this property along with our wives. We enjoyed the secluded location, the view, and the close location to the Boxley Valley, Buffalo River and Ponca areas. The house was clean and very well equipped. We would stay here again.

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful place--the cover image shows it all. The check-in and check-out process and procedures were extremely reasonable. The kitchen was very well stocked, which was a welcome change from the many other places that even lacked a can opener, for example. And its surrounded by bucolic (and quiet) cows! The only thing to mention is that if it's rainy and you're coming in a car, you might struggle to get exit via the very steep dirt road.

Lovely

The property was easy to find for us as we had been in the area several times before. It was secluded with lots of great scenery to look at when outside. Plenty of space everywhere. Comfortable beds and sofas. very clean. Gas stove was a bit tricky since it has been many years since using one. Good storage, kitchen was nicely stocked. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Definitely will go back!! Rachel was easy to get in touch with. Thank you for allowing us to stay! Will definitely be back!

Secluded Home in the Hills

This was a great stay for a weekend getaway trip to a unwind in a quiet and beautiful setting. The owner has made a lot of improvements to create a clean, functional, well appointed country home while maintaining the integrity of the country setting that it is in. You can tell that they have given a lot of thought to providing touches of hospitality to make your stay more enjoyable. Great place, I would definitely come back here to visit! It is preferable to have a larger vehicle or even 4 wheel drive to get to the house.

Great place

Total Getaway!

Spacious property with lots of comfortable seating and beautiful views. The location is so quiet and peaceful with beautiful night skies. It provided a much needed escape from traffic and noise. Once we arrived we didn’t leave until checkout.

Wonderful charming cottage home surrounded by beautiful meadows.

It was a wonderful experience staying at the Hillsdale cottage the house was fully equipped and secluded and very peaceful. We enjoyed the waterfalls and hikes in Jasper and Eureka Springs was gorgeous. We loved swimming at Beaver lake. Overall such a fabulous experience.
